New one. This one's called "Last ressource". It's a metaphor, showing that the snake is me and the gnome-thing who's fizzling his spell is you.

You actually made that pic?
Damn... Well made if you ask me, but I don't know **** about how to use that program so I can't really say if it is well done or not, but my guess is that it is... |

Hi, i just had a look through this thread, and i love your work. i want to post my work, but i probably wont post more than a few images cos i'm so slow. your work is very vibrant, and looks like you have worked very quickly, am i right? how long on average do you work on a piece? i think i should do some more speed painting. also, i tend to scan a pencil drawing first, do you do this, or just go straight into photoshop?

Hey, thanks for the message Daleth.
I'll answer first with the duration of the process, saying it really depends on my motivation and said drawing. It takes me around 8 hours to do something like that (I usually do it in 2-3 evenings seperatly), and yes, I like to be a bit rough, but that's also mostly because of photoshop. I don't really like the increasingly soft and detailed style you can have in photoshop. It's a bit unpersonal and it feels too much like it's been done on a comp. So I like to be a little more loose, I put some details aside for a bit more energy I usually don't scan, I draw directly..but I wouldn't say it's a very good thing. Most artists draw with pencils then scan it, but I guess you have to go with what's more comfortable for you. And finally, as for speed painting, yes, give it a try

good answer! cool, i'm feeling inspired now. it makes sense now i think about it using a harder brush will give those nice lines, i'm always seduced by the air brush effect, but i like the results you're getting... grabs pen... gets scribbling.

Pretty cool pics... but why you sometimes make realy many details ..and sometimes not? IN the last picture ..the heaven looks a bit broken for me ..need more detail like in other pics of you ;D
Otherwise you have a cool style! |

You are right. I rushed the last one a bit, and notably the sky that isn't as polished as I use to detail. I might get back on it just to finish it up a bit.

Ahah! your first MO peice. Looks mortalishy to me! Those sators bring the mortalness out, very nice. You even added a de-evolutionized version of the sators.. how cute heh.
I look forward to many many more of these. merci Rainier mon ami! Vel.

A more mortalish pic now. it's a concept drawing so pardon my roughness with this one, made it really quickly.
I imagined some kind of fortress for the kallards or the blainns, some massive thing. Here what came out. ![]()

I know nothing about drawing, but you manage to make your pictures look like paintings really. Very detailed ones too..

Thanks alot !
As for making tutorials, at first I wasn't sure because I don't know if i'm a good teacher there's honestly already better artists out there than me. But recently, I got an assignement to do an E-learning project, so I chose my drawings for that. I'll probably use my website to put on some tutorials in the future (i'll notice there when some are online) in video form and other little things.

Is there a way to get your works in a wallpaper size? Would be so awesome to put some of your works on my screen, if you don't mind of course
