Since I'm trying out as a Concept Artist, I decided I could show off a bit of my work here
--- A digital painting I made a little while ago, not really MO related but since I just started drawing again (thanks for internship in a lousy agency, sucking my inspiration), I thought it would be a nice start. ![]()

Looks good, as a fellow artist I recommend working on getting into some more detail in the water, you've done a great job adding detail other places, but you have to stay consistent through out so that the mind doesn't get distracted.
The composition is nice, but i'm not sure what I should be looking at specifically, that big firefly could be a nice object but compositionally it could go in a place that gets more attention so you're drawn to it more! Keep it up. |

Great work. I especially love the first picture from the concept art perspective because it's not too noisy. When your trying to get a concept or idea across I always thought it was best to capture the main themes as simply and cleanly as possible - If you have another idea for the same area, then do two pictures.
Fantastic stuff mate. |

Maybe you could make about MO a comic about a guy who lives in a little village from the kallard (or what race you like) and that he is learning about the cruelness of the world with a funnt touch.
Or make a comic about leprecauns XD

So here's a quick concept (not really elaborated, took me 30 mintues) for the main character of a possible upcoming MO comic. And I have a good story too
![]() Story: A very cynic and sarcastic artist (the character above) who's living in a huge tindremene city is drowning in boredom and lousy orders as he loses inspiration, when one day a friend of his suggests an unusual idea to get his motivation back: follow him to wars with all his drawing materials. He then sets sails for a series of events, finding himself into battles, drawing and studying the politics of the world around him.

I dunno though if the comic could be done in digital painting, since it takes a tremendous amount of time to finish one panel.

So hey, i'm back here !
Here's my latest drawing, made it for a friend of mine after I gave her a first one that was absolutely fucking terrible. Trying also some new colorisations. Not too shabby but I still have problems with my contrasts. Well, more drawings are on the way to try out anyway. ![]()

For now, i'm a student in Multimedia Design...not too fond on such studies, working for the advertisement market is something I want to avoid at all cost
I also do some freelance illustration for now (but can't get a profit from it for now, don't have that many clients that are willing to pay :/ ), and try to progress so I can get in the gaming industry as an artist but still has some road to do to get to that objective.

You got skill..one little thing that kind of bothers me about the last pic - her hand is kind of weird looking ( a little bit thiner would look better imo)..is she a fatty? cause her proportions tell me she is..and now for the real question: if she's kind of plump, how did she get up there? :|

Ha, was expecting that one tbh ! =P
Nah she's no fatty, though I made her more bigboned that I expected. The main problem is because of the high contrast and pose, there are some body parts that go unseen of difformed I guess. I'd say she's pretty built up instead. :| (though still need some work on female anatomy)

Excellent job Rainier, Keep up the good work. I'd love to see more landscapes like this. PS: I know EXACTLY what you mean about work. I'm currently having a bit of that problem myself. |
