I am starting a new project within MOTO. It's a renaming project, anyone may participate in it.

The objective for this new project is to brainstorm and come up with the best-fit names for our official name, official ranks/group names, and for our official tournament event names. If anyone could come up with a logo.... or symbol, maybe flag, for our tournament movement, it'd be much appreciated!

Rules:
No 'silly' names. simple as that! be serious, be creative - sometimes the most simplex name is the best name.

Names will be collected in 1-2 weeks (depending on how active this project remains), then the administration will vote on which they like, and we'll have individule vote-finales per subject (meaning, our official name will have a poll, our official ranks/group name will have a poll, etc)

Anyone may participate, you do not have to register on our forums to participate, you may do so privately or on the MOTO thread on the Mortal Online forums.

I like the idea, although I do not much tournaments myself (but the horse racing sounds much fun). Will the tournaments also be held in roleplay? If so, it would contribute alot to roleplay I guess.

The only thing I could think of would be how to restrain the spectators from bringing weapons.

On request of GK I will share some of my ideas on future torunament events...
So the first one and I think the most enjoyable by the public would be...SURVIVAL!

Basicly this event will be held in a closed arena where we will put certain number ( I think 20 ish) naked charecters on one side and OFB&BM (one fucking big & bad monster) on the other.
The last perticpant to remain alive wins.

Of course the guys in the arena can not only fight together the monster but attack each other.
Plus there will be hidden weapons and/or armour arround the arena zone.

I doubt this would actually work but if it did I think it would be a cool matchtype.

This honestly just popped into my head right now, I haven't really thought about it, im just writing my thoughts.

Hostage

I'm not sure at all how long someone remains in a helpless state after takeing a blow that almost kills them.

But, if it is a reasonable time then this could work out.

Anyway this is how it would work.

Two teams, before the game, both teams agree on Team A's base.

Team A then choose one player from Team B and takes him to Team A's base, remove his clothes or whatever and knock him to a near death state (if this is possible).

Team B's objective is to break into Team A's base and rescuse the hostage.

After the time limit, whatever it might be is reached, if all of Team A are not dead then Team A have the right to execute the hostage,if they do this successfully then Team A wins

If Team B manage to kill Team A and rescue the hostage then Team B wins.

Basically Team A defend base to the death, Team B struggle to kill Team A and resuce their hostage.

If anyone comes up with any improvements please post them and i'll add them in.

I dont really see the need for the hostage to be in near death state.
he can be a neutral player that plays the role of hostage.
And if the team that has to rescue him fails he would be asssumed "dead".

Yeah the hostage doesn't really need to be near death, I just it would make it better, imagine the time almost gone you break in kill a few players but your too late and you watch your guy get executed, awesomes

Updates:

Currently doing research on turkish/turkic, native american, mongolian and persian words to help modify the MOTO name, and group-ranks. I will provide translation of the words, which would be simular to what they already are.

There will be a total conversion, making MOTO fit in with RP; there will be RP background-story of MOTO, there will be requirements for each participant to come up with their own story on how they came to find MOTO and their experiences with it (if any). This will all be figured out later, it might just be a requirement per guild, so no rush. But it is clear, MOTO will be based on role-playing in some form.

Adrala's event ideas will be implimented in this change as well.
