I was sitting in my van down by the river, eating government cheese, and suddenly I saw it. It was sitting on the river bank next to an empty six-pack of beer. So I quickly ran over and took it.not the six-pack...the Mortals Online.
Seriously though, I can across it at "onrpg.com forums", and as they say the rest is history. I must admit though, I can't blame the members here for my demented frame of mind, though I wish I could. Guess that's what makes me feel like I fit right in here. ROCK on dementiated World!!! Is that even a real word? if it isn't, maybe it should be huh Oh that's right. dementia isn't me, that would mean I am twisted. wait? I am....OMG!!! forget it, I am confuzzed now aarrgghh!! |\/|[]|\|TEE |

70% heard of it from posters in other forums & friend's.
so it seems that at list so far PR has basically being word-to-mouth.

a fellow Forumfall member! woot My friend Porthios and I have been following Darkfall for going on 7 years now and we, being old UO vets, are always looking for non-wow-like games(IE games that have the spirit of old UO) to support! I am looking forward to supporting this game.. .just don't make us wait 7 years and counting like I am for DF :P.

From the Ogre boards, fan forum of Trials of Ascension, however that has been put into the eternal freezer, so I needed a new hope in MMO world because the current flavors are mostly just mixes of the same components... I need something innovative
Even though I'm a huge fan of what ToA tried to accomplish, I don't want to have this game changed sofar that it looks like it... It can not be done, the core system is different, so it should not be the "ToA reborn". That said, this game looks promising regardless of not being like my dream game |

Ran across the link in another game's forum, and I'm glad I did. Love what I see so far. From what I can tell the game's vision is very much in line with what I want to see in the next generation of MMO's. Keep up the good work!

There was a nice article on this Dutch news site about the engine which is used in Mortal Online: http://life.tweakers.net/nieuws/5294...s-van-ue3.html

I found mortal online by searching for a really pvp and so more playerbased MMORPG, read about in several forums and so finally i must take a real view here
I hope really its a fine PvP gameplay with well thought and developed rules, i need no mobs, NPC's perhaps only as traders. But why bashing in MMORPG's most times some programmed animated dummies? And as second gameplaychoice making some paperchase (called quests)? Played since UO many MMORPG's, i liked most old UO and for 3D oldstyle SWG. As MMOG (without rp Its the only real MMOG, has still consequent gameplay, all what happens ingame is playerbased, thats what i demand for MMOGs. |
