I do like when games give you such an option to customize your character. It's nice being able to create a Skinny person or a Fat person, haha. However, as alot of games have proven customization really isn't that big of a deal. I prefer to be able to customize my characters, however selecting characters already made where you just get armor for them is fine as well. If it's alot easier and alot less time consuming, then I say go for it. Either way.
