The last release pist me off pretty well,
I'm sick of the so-called updates that update us on the devs health and shit.. who the hell cares, honestly. The Universal Bank shit pisses me off, next it will be instances.. I mean his excuses for Universal Banks was basicly, "the mainstream likes universal banks.. that's why we are going to have them in.." |

I don't understand what you mean here. Aren't we going to have about a full month of beta? That seems relatively lengthy to me. It's not like it's a closed beta or anything. They had said it from the start that they wanted the game to be fully loaded by the time that beta rolls around and all that we will be doing is stress testing mostly.
But yes, I am thrilled to see a release date. They know they can't screw up another date so they must have been closer to a release than I had thought. I guess since I just didn't believe all of the stuff that they were saying about being farther along than most games in beta and having a nearly complete game I just assumed it would take longer to release. |

Yes. Something that they cannot do without our help really. That and to see what hundreds of players will do once in game. There will likely be a few wrinkles for them to iron out and I'd expect a few crashes early on, but the idea is that it would all be fixed by release. Something that quite a few games haven't been able to pull off lately, haha.

Darkfall has stayed fairly simple as far as system reqs are concerned. On the wiki is probably the minimum but that's only a guess as I am too lazy to look and see and I don't think that they've actually posted a recommended yet. MO will obviously require a much better computer. But if your computer can run other MMOs like WoW or AoC then it shouldn't have any problems running Darkfall in my opinion.

I run with: Asus Crosshair Mobo AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+ (overclocked to 3.1 GHZ). Only 2 Gigs of RAM because I took 2 Gigs out for a diff computer. ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT Video Card And of course this all runs great with my 42' Samsung LCD HDTV as a monitor This computer could perform just as well as most with quad core could. |

Those who claim developers lied and the game won't be released, got anything to back up your words? |

2046- we were almost ready guys! It's just that a flying pony came in and burned down my office, and then some other game developer came and bashed our game, so that held us off too. |
