Concept Screenshot - Face in the Cliff?

So.. now maybe I'm trying too hard after that last one with the Creature in the Orb but, I think I'm seeing a face in the side of the cliff that the Shreevran is climbing. I tried to dismiss it, but the structure seems really defined.

So here's that image, with some highlight comparison to show it:

Maybe, the paterns on it now kind of make me think of a tree with no or very smooth bark.

Either way, it's not uncommon for the devs to leave hints in their work. It may be an old statue, it may be an old/dead tree spirit, or it may just be a landmark that happens to look that way.

Just something to keep in mind I guess hehe. Since the level of 'puzzle' in these major lore related quests can be waay up there.

The Ents are attacking! Although to the right of the nose there seems to be another nose, could the stone/tree/thing be multi-faced?

I do think its very possible that these designs are intentional. Thinking of this detailed imagery reminds me of the trailer when the dragon in the cave rises from the shadows. You might be onto a trend Rathius.

Yea, I realized that.

This stuff (this and the other image) is actually being put into the AI Video Blog, where I expanded on it and said I'm probably just seeing things.

But, since the devs like hiding things and leaving a clues, it's not something I'd lightly pass up. Especially after the images behind the Counter.

Dude, he is just picking a flower. No stone giants or stuff like that in the picture. Howewer, i think that flower is uniqe. I am gonna try to find it when i get the game.

If you choose to ignore it, that's fine. But if something actually comes from it, just remember the phrase "I told you so." Hehe, and anyhow, it's better speculation than going back and forth about the other crap in the general forum at the moment. It's either nudity or preorder mess.

As for the flower, I think I noticed the same flower in the Sodoian image. Though its not as bright or clear as this one, it looks similar enough.

I do plan to keep up with the lore throughout the game. And once in game I'm probably gonna be an Indiana Jones type of person. Looking through the lore, exploring, getting in trouble, and findinging really cool things.

Let me know if ya need a few guards, we are a couple of people who plan to play ranger type of people and well i guess that would fit in well as guards for that type of character XD.

Anyway on topic, i think its just your mind screwing with ya, despite i can see something that reminds of a face in it, its to vague for me to believe its a hint.

Yup, I also think there's something up with the lotus in the image, among many other symbols I've compiled... even if they are just decoration. Hehe.. I'm so bored right now.

But, I guess there's no further information directly related to these two images I've put up. Kind of sad, means I hafta wander around until somethin pops out at me. Like my most current theory on the counter...
