Fuck I dont want to look up links, but that is how pming in game works. Mats is trying to make it so they are real pidgeons that can be intercepted, but its looking like there will be no 'actual' bird coming to you with message just a delayed message

If I happen to run into someone that I'm comfortable enough with to do this, I don't think I would mind going off somewhere private and just using say or something. If not, there are a plethora of chat programs and vent is always more fun then text.

Lol I have the feeling the cybering is a bizzare habbit of some... like machosists and sadists me personaly have never really understood the pleasure in cybering rather than a real girl or normal porn. Cybering is not something you do instead of having sex with a real girl, Spiderspy, any more than reading a racy novel or watching a hot sex scene in a movie is. It's not complicated, it's just entertainment.

Well to my mind Dev, it's not really about arousal... it's about RP. If my character is in a situation where they would have sex, then they do. Which is why I don't cyber much since my characters are usually out in the field where getting nakey means getting dead real quick. I've logged into games where the "social" thing is the main point and I personally find it pretty boring. Heh, I walked my character into the center of town in one game and everyone was sitting on someone elses lap talking dirty. It just looked silly to me but they all seemed to be having a good time so Gods bless 'em.

it just seems like a hassle and a pointless feature - trying to simulate a real world to that extent is ridiculous. Its obviously a virtual world so why use so much resources and make an extra bother for the player for such a strange feature?

But on a more serius note to bouth of you I gues its more about your own imagination some people can manage imagene yourself to arousal

it probly just helps you a bit for those who have a hard time(get it

As lame as it sounds to some there are people that like it. If you buy a dirty magazine they have sex stories written in them. Whats the difference between that and ingame cybering? Your still reading text that does something for you. Cybering offers you the change to make up your own story and be apart of it. I personally dont intend to cyber because I have my wife for that sort of thing, but I wouldnt stop others from their enjoyment.

Yes, I was noticing that. So far while about 33% of the population Cyber, 80% of the female population does. I was curious about this since a poster in another thread claimed that females never cyber and my experience has been exactly the opposite. Can't draw any conclusions though since the sample population of 5 females who have answered so far is not statistically significant, the margin of error on such a small sample is huge.

It's also worth noting that only 11% of respondents are female. We do have a large enough sample to conclude that there is about a 1:9 ratio of females:males posting here. Curious to see how the numbers continue.
