Post roleplay threads or stories here?

I'm feeling bored right now so I was wondering if this would be the place for that sort of thing. I suppose it's the only place if there's any place 'cause what other place would there be?

I wonder if any of you would be interested in that sort of thing. Or is it too nerdy, perhaps?

I'm just killing a little time now so, tell ya what, I'll get the ball rolling with a little story.

Just sit right back and I'll tell a tale. A tale of a fatefull trip. That started on this tropic isle, aboard this tiny ship.

The mate was mighty sailing man, the skipper brave and sure. When they set out that fatefull day for a three hour tour. A three hour tour.

The weather started getting rough. The tiny ship was tossed. If not for the courage of the fearless crew, the Minnow would be lost. The Minnow would be lost.

Ahhh...who am I kidding? Nobody wants to read my highly original and inspired literature.

I was actually thinking about starting up a roleplay thread when more background was released for the game. I'd definitely join, and I know Siegfried would too.

I'm a horrible roleplayer, but can write very well when inspired. Shame I'm never inspired to write a great tome of a lonely adventurer, though.

Roleplay threads aren't something I want to do every day but once in while I get in the mood for it. Sometimes I just like to write short (very short) stories when the mood strikes me.

It would be better if we had a little more lore about the game, though.

Do you think I'd be okay to post a story here if it was set in the Warcraft universe, not Mortal Online? It's a pretty cool story (if I do say so myself) and I really can't write anything about MO until we get some sort of lore...

There that is my RPing part. Anyways if you guys want a place to RP, just PM, and I'll send you guys the link to it. Its a LOTR RPG, where you can RP, and fight NPC with the throw of a dice.

vandal, you can play a wookie Jedi in the fellowship of the ring, lector, your an elf who joined john cryton & erin on moya, landor, you can play a walking tree who's a general in the roman triumvirate, kroggar you get to be an orc fighting in the french revolution (the second one). now if you don't mind, I'm playing a reincarnated indo soul. it only appears in life forms which have half a second to live, so i am basically not doing anything other then reincarnating repeatedly.

I hate to break it to you Kroq, but actually I DID play football. Then got home sat in front of my computer, gleefully running about in games as a tiny gnome, or dwarf or some such nonsense.

Then again I'm not your stereotypical nerd, as you well know.

As for a Role Playing Caste, this kind've thing happens anywhere with anything. Except lemmings, they're usually too busy trying to die horrible deaths in some way, shape, or form.

Also Traceur I'm going to go ahead and be the grammar NAYZEE here, and say it.

Its "You're" not "Your", its "You" and "Are" if they happened to step through Teleportation device, are somehow thrown together in a grotesque mish-mash that resembles their previous forms. Losing the "A" in the Process, and only have a tiny ' to show for their adventure.

Yes, I'm a prick, but I had to say it or my mind would fricking melt.

Also yes, I'd be happy to join in on some role playing of some form. As kroqgar already said for me. *annoyed stare*

The line for it is to discuss overall lore, however yeah I figured the same thing initially. I figure once we get enough info to actually run with, it'll be more and more bent that way.

Necromancing this thread to ask a question. Alright, so I recently bought the fourth edition books for D&D, and am enjoying them thus far. Since there's a lack of background info for the game, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a forum roleplay based off the new D&D races/classes and suchwhat. I figure it's at least something to get a good measure of others abilities, and can maybe suck some other people into the occult.

Give me some feedback!

EDIT: I understand reviving a 2 day post isn't a necromantic act, but I want to feel all dark and special, so leave me alone.
