So, I'm sad if I disappoint you, but I really haven't tried that many PnP's.

I don't think it's so much a matter of how many PnP's you played, but rather just having played one, being the type of person who would enjoy playing one, and having a general familiarity with them. It's those elements that make a good "creator", be it a game developer or a DM at a tabletop session.

Erik is by far one of the best writers/creative minds I've run into when it comes to game setting, and he is a big inspiration for me both in and outside MO. I bet you will even recognize a handful of stuff in the game borrowed from Erik's work - or sometimes from our discussions. You knew that I drew the maps for the Svavelvinter book some years ago?
