A stuck with a nail could easily be a nail bat, which is a club so to speak
Updated Headgears to the Armor Section. Added Club to One Handed Weapons As for blow guns, I thought about it long and hard, but it's just too primitive and impractical (though effective). I wouldn't mind putting it in the one hand ranged weapon category... but... ah hell... Added Blow Gun and Darts to One Handed Range Weapon Last edited by Vanndal : 10th July 2008 at 11:15. |

One handed Ranged: Bolas and Jarid (which is basically a Javelin, so leave that out)
One handed Melee: Tonfa/Baton, Bearded Axe, and the Bagh Nakh. Two handed Melee: Quarterstaff, Bill/Pike, Naginata, Voulge/Glaive, Falx, and Lucerne Hammer. Also, it's Halberd and Nunchaku. And the Falchion is by no means a two handed weapon, being only 2.5-3.5 feet long and 2-3 pounds. Last edited by Heliopios : 10th July 2008 at 12:07. |

Since falchion is identical to a scrimitar, but just with a different name (if you don't believe me look it up). I'm removing it from the list. You have a point there, but lightsabre is still too futuristic for a medieval fantasy game :P. Last edited by Vanndal : 10th July 2008 at 12:58. |

Updated Armor Section.
I updated mask description to allow it to be worn in conjunction or conjecture with certain other helmets. Hmmm... that weapon looks cool, but... lol I don't know anything about it, anyone wanna give me a good description on it that would make sense in combat? |

About a meter long and shaped as a double-semicircle with four points (resembling a two-ended scimitar), the bat'leth is carried along the inside of the arm and wielded using two handholds on the outside edge of the weapon. A modern bat'leth is typically 116 centimeters long and weighs 5.3 kilograms, and is composed of baakonite metal.

Added a few Light and Heavy Shields.
Leg Armor to come. Suggestions still welcomed, and... I dunno what to do with that klingon weapon :P. It does look like a feasible weapon, but I'm wondering if it will get into any copy right issue ><. |

Wow, amazing list man, you were on top of it. Cant say you got them all but no complaints here, althought i would add some awesome gauntlets or gloves that maby had an attack on them for those who would enjoy more fist combat with boots, gloves, and helmet you can do damage with if need be?

How about weapons and protection equipment made from bones of animals.
Well it is a fantasy world, it ought to have some cultures that craft equipment out of animal bones, and some of the animal bones are as tough as steel. |

As for armour, I would much rather go into combat completely unarmoured than with a vest of animal bone on. All it would do is weigh you down and restrict your movement, without a good trade off for protection. You'd be better off with large flecks of a hardwood bark or boiled animal hides than bone armour. I understand the purpose of making a group appear savage and barbaric, but it's completely impractical if you really think about it. |

Also, I would like to be able to use the environment for weapons.
I'd like a fight where, the other guy disarms me, sends my sword flying across the battlefield, faced with certain peril, I grab a nearby rock, and start to bash his skull in! |

Leg Armor Added to the Armor Section.
Armor Section is completed, but further suggestions are still welcomed. Anything could be used as a improvised weapon or armor, so... I'll leave that up to the devs unless you guys want me to generate a random list of improvised weapons. Look forward to a Siege Weapon List

However, the Double Sword would most likely make a very poor weapon choice. Just going off of appearance, it has several qualities that wouldn't make it a very good weapon. The dual blades would add to air resistance, giving it a slower strike. The fact that it's just a one handed weapon means that this drag can't be compensated for by a more powerful strike. The impact damage of the blades is also a negative point against the weapon, meaning the actual momentum and force that the blade carries would be minimized by the larger surface area of the weapon. Due to this minimized striking power, the weapon would be useless against chainmail and anything stronger, or maybe even leather armour depending on who's wielding it. An argument for thrusting can't be made, as the blades would be under tremendous stress. It definitely wouldn't be my weapon of choice, although I'd gladly fight against someone wielding it. As a general rule, you shouldn't take weaponry from Final Fantasy, or other such games. Tends to be rather unrealistic, however 'cool' it may be. |

No offence intended, but your list is rather incomplete. I hope MO has a lot more variation than this. Just taking swords as an example, and spening 30 seconds on research (i.e. typing "types of swords" into Wikipedia) gives the following European swords (there are many many more from other regions): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Types_of_swords |
