That is still non-sensical. I can and will support both MO and DF. Sure you will probably spend the majority of your time on only one. After all I, like everyone else, only have so many free hours per day.

His statement, however, is following on with the general crap that has been stated in this thread and implies that if you are on MO forums it means you don't really believe DF will be that great or successful. Which is BS. I think it will, but I will also support MO.

Why should you play with the crappy broadsword when you can use the uber sword of awesomeness which is that much more fun.

Yes, I will play the one I enjoy more, but I think you missed the point of my posts. Let's recap what I quoted originally.

This is a non-sensical statement as I said. There is this insinuation that if you are posting on this forum you cannot believe that DF will release/be successful etc. Just because I will end up playing one game predominantly does not mean I cannot still think the other game will be good and support it.

First nay-sayers point out that DF fans cannot see past DF, but then if you post on another forum then you are in fact not a true DF fan and unless you are a true DF fan then you cannot possibly have a valid argument. So you are telling me you play one game at a time? Just 1 MMO for you? Because I usually have 2 subscriptions going at the same time. I like to play multiple games just for a little variety, as many other gamers do.

And I'll follow that up with - unless they clean up that shitty excuse for anti-vaporware game then it might as well be vaporware.

Just because they release a game, on a burnt DVR, doesn't mean the game made much progress past any previous vaporware allegations. DFO doesn't look even close to release.

To the Anti DFO people you really need to quit it. I have listen to your arguments, you insane theories, and walls ands walls of the text and none of them have been strong. The game could possibly turn into a DnL2, but is far past vaporware or thones of chaos/krel/ ect. (who oddly are oddly partners with the MO crew) in status. Till it is in peoples hands we do not know.

Also on this whole MO and DFO competition thing is bull. IF there is enough room for a trillion everquest clones then their will be plenty of room for both DFO and MO. Especially with their release dates as far apart as they appear to be.

EQ clones? Please show me one. Since UO; Eq1 I've never seen anything that comes close to it, well Vanguard was something like close during the early beta days as for UO...never seen anything comparable to this game.

Ummm WoW. The basic go kill 10 rats EQ quest model has basically been copied and pasted then refined in a trillion MMOs. Sure the system is not exclusive to EQ, but EQ was that one that brought that type of gaming to MMOs. Hell richard garriot said it best when he talked about how uninnovative wow was because it was only a polished and refined eq.
