I know there are COUNTLESS full loot threads out here, but this isn't just for that. This is a plea to all of the Dev's to PLEASE stay focused and keep a firm goal here. 99.9% of us like it.
Gives us FULL LOOT. 100%. Nothing held back. No "special bags that magically insure items in it" no "partial loot." Nothing, full loot. If you absolutely must with no alternative add something such as an insurance policy to quiet the carebears, make it only available to members of a guild and MAKE THE GUILD VAULT LOOTABLE/ABLE TO BE PILLAGED AND LIMITED IN SPACE. <--- (honestly not a terrible idea, I'm not sure if I'd rather it in or out because it would definietly add some guild politics and tension, which = good, interesting gameplay and relationships) I know I'm not the only one to say all of this, but all of the ideas you guys have are amazing, and Age of Conan was extremely similiar in principal. Until, of course, the WoW-kiddies (I can say this because I am one, they arent all bad and aren't all kids) decided to go on the forums and cry their hearts out until the majority of looting was removed. This game has unbelievable potential. Let's keep it that way, shall we? Good luck Dev's, and keep up the GREAT work in both game development (from what I can tell) and keeping us posted with good info. -Caoboi |

I understand, and I see where your coming from. And I'm not saying ANYTHING about the dev's for this game, as they seem great and as if they know what theyre doing.
But it damn sure wouldn't be the first time a company has said they were going to do something and reverted it or downgraded it to something else. |

Question:
Crom: “My only suggestion to the Star Vault developers is to stick to your vision of "a Full PvP game with a sandbox environment." I cannot stress this enough. Please do not waiver from -- or alter -- this vision. Do not water down this game and change it to something completely different than what you are planning now.” Henrik, CEO This is very important to me and the team as well, don’t worry we won’t turn this away. |

I have never even played a PVP heavy game before but I am interested in this. I will try anything, but I probably wont be very good at winning for a while. I imagine the key will be not to have anything of value outside of the bank?

Ketrine, I think the key is enjoying yourself and making some new friends, the rest is just 'pixels, pixels, pixels' to paraphrase the great bard

If you provide a way to obtain weapons and armor replacements fairly easily then I don't see a problem with full looting.
I used to pvp heavily in UO, and would farm for maybe 2 hours to create Bone armor suits... five or six sets of these could last me a week and if i died in pvp with them on... NP, could get more and my weapon replace by a player Blacksmith. |
