When you fight in PvP you could jump on to things and then jump against the enemys and get twice as much force Like in Narnia: Prince caspian the last battle when he duels against the pirate lord. THat would be realy cool like jumping attacks. Like God of war fighting so you could JUmp on his shoulders and pierce the blade down his head.

Simple speed bonus to attacks like Mount & Blade could do it. When you jump off somewhere, you're going downward with some speed depending on how long you've been falling, so with speed bonus you'd hit harder then. (I've never actually tried jumping on someone in M&B, but in theory it could work.) It's also very essential for charging attacks, and as MO will have mounted combat, I'd guess at least some sort of speed bonuses are planned, or should be at least.

Well i was thinking like a wall run like in prince of percia and then you jump of in the middle of the wall run against your enemy and then attack then you get like massive damage bonus. or like you Strike him in the helmet and he gets confused and then you climb on his shoulders and pierce the blade throug his head

well hope they don't allow jumping in the game at all.
i like the abbility to jump in games and it adds to the demintions the game is played. but when it comes to PvP jumping is horrid. even shooters have slowed down on allowing jumping in their games. "bunny hoping" imo breaks PvP. i also think it's gay as hell to see players in mmo just jumping around while they are walking in town or out in the wild. although this game is based on player skill,so jumping in game may be required. i just hope it is limited in some way. maybe it would use up a ton a stam (if stam is used in MO) so that a player would only dare to jump a couple of times in combat and only at key times. |

Jumping could be handled various ways. I recall in America's Army you would have a strength meter and basically if you ran the meter depleted to a certain level, and if you jumped the meter would spike down, so that you could only jump a certain amount of times before you had to wait a couple seconds to jump again, and it was harder to jump if you had been running or were being shot at.
