I Just played throug God of war 2 For the 3 time and it would be realy cool if this game could have like a god of war fighting style. Imagine this: You meet an old Wanted enemy on the Road. You remember him becaouse he killed your brother. He Says something Ugly to you: Your Brother Screamed Like a pig when i murdered him. You run against him, You smahs your shield in him. The murderer gets dazed you run agaisnt a tree right next to him You run a little up the tree( Not Matrix but realistic) You jump from the tree and you Decasipate him with your axe. You take the Head back to town for Proof that you have killed the murderer So you can get your Bounty For killing a Murderer. Liked That. That would be Awesome To have in The Game.

Hehe Mario fighting style:P I have never actually liked mario. But when i play god of war i get this feeling when i Pwn someone with my swords. It would be better with a realy cool fighting system( Not matrix or god of war) But a more realistic god of war fighting style.

First of all , you can't tell this bastard (who killed your brother) anything , you can only type =).
Secondly, it's PvP game and you will fight not with tones of AI controlled meat , but against players. So there will be no one-hit-killing. Ok , feeling of pwning. I guess there will be such thing as Fatality , it was in Age of Conan and it really was fun. Or may be, in first person view fatalities will not be so impressive. Therefore it can be limb-cutting. |

I would much rather prefer that they base it off of real-life fighting styles. Have a swordmaster come into the studio and motion capture his movements. Make the dynamics similar also, let me do feints, parries and ripostes. Would be a much more satisfying thing (IMO) than running up a tree and pwning someone on the way down.
Edit: A player-driven bounty hunter system would be awesome though I agree. |

What about making the whole game like Super Smah fighting style..
I see the point, but GoW = Single Player, MO = MMO And mmos tends to be laggy and massive, so you don´t want around 10 player at the screen fighting like "dancingblade" wannabies

First off, I'm going to say no. Because that doesn't leave a lot for skill because it's triggered 'combos'.
I can see a -somewhat- version of God of War for things like overly large Monsters though. The reason for this is that it totally breaks the game to be attacking something much larger than you.... and you kill it by constantly attacking it's toe. I mean, seriously? A randomized trigger system that requires you to actually hit somewhere that it's going hurt would be preferable. Or some sort of hit detection on large monsters. I would like to actually think about what I'm hitting instead of swinging at the thing's toe mindlessly. |

I meant "Like god of war" Not God of war For an example if you see a dragon and you need to kill it you have to find out a way to remove kill Him and in beowulf Example Its the heart. Then you have to climb on to him and take his heart

hehe I have the mod Better fighting for oblivion its awesome i cant belive i played oblivion before with out the better fighting mod. Its like dark messiah. And dark messiah is Uber
