I've made a whole bunch of trial accounts. Haven't bought it though, I don't find the time to play MMOs anymore.
I do like EVE though, it probably have the best GUI for any MMO and the players are always nice and helpful. |

Heh the Gallente fly giant phalices and the men wear womens clothing. But anyway I always saw the Caldri as the best in pvp lost a few good ships to those bastards, and of course ya gotta love the golden ships of the Amarr.

I have an account that is over a year old, GALLENTE FTW!!! :P
Hit me up, character name: Balec The corp I am in just finished moving out to 00, for the second time in a few months. I'm still in Empire running lvl4 missions to save up some money so I can go out there and get my ass kicked...again...for a while. I haven't had much time to play recently but always training my skills Quote:
http://www.eve-files.com/media/corp/crii/latest.jpg There is a link if you are not sure where that is, this is updated all the time so it is a very good link to have if you are a pilot. Anyway I could babble on and on about EVE and this game but I will spare you all Everyone in Eve hit me up, I am dying to talk to other people about MO. We could get our own channel going, I'll set one up right now and call it Mortal Online. |

I'll send you a PM in a couple of days. I ran out of game-time yesterday so I'll buy some more today/tomorrow. I'm probably not going to be only a miner. I'm thinking about just being one in the beginning and then become a trader once I got the hang of the market-system. But, we'll see about that in a couple of weeks. Until then Veldspar is for teh fucking win.

I think we have around 30-40...not sure it is downtime and I can't look and I am about to pass out. We are in a decent sized alliance/coalition to. We also have a member or two that can fly capitol ships and do traffic to and from empire, they might be able to shed some light on your trading curiousities. I am not sure though I have been pretty much absent for a few weeks and don't really know much of the people in this corp except the few I came there with. (previous corp fell apart so I followed some buddies to this one months ago)

Aragoni is a loser who left EVE Online for World of Warcraft.
I've been playing since 2005, my main is 'Drake Dracoli', currently in a pirate corporation "Incarnation of Evil", which was in a shortlived alliance named Carnal Knowledge. Was a lot of fun, but I decided to move on, currently working my security status off in 0.0. Probably going to join Teth's corp, No Quarter next. They're based down in Querious. |

And you're a loser who advertised your own corporation on the Forumfall and made loads to start with the game, and then you left.
Edit: Plus, "left" is the wrong word since I still logged in from time to time and changed skill training.

Technically, I never left. My character is still in that corp.
Angelmar has all the funds now, they're all going into helping out Teth's alliance, I believe. Where most of the forumfallers went. I was busy with scholarship applications. |

Gonna be starting for probably the 10th time tomorrow. I'm knowledgeable about the game as a whole (minus how PvP in general tends to go in practice rather than in theory) and so would pretty easily fit into a corp without a lot of work from the corp leadership, but my skills would still need a few months to train.
I'm gonna try to not go so hardcore this time. Last time I went "I want to get to PvP successfully as fast as possible, probably the best way to do that is in BCs, time to get a BS for a reliable way to pay for replacement BCs" and did just that in less than a month and a half. I was running L4s at that point half decently to build up funds for a few iterations worth of insurance for Myrmidons, but I was bored as hell, and got burnt out, again. First time I subscribed I thought "I want to get to 0.0, time to get a mining barge so an industrial corp will take me ASAP" and did just that. I was out there in under a month and a half with a Retriever pulling almost 2/3 the maximum amount that one can mine at a time. Found out that small-scale industrial work in 0.0 comprises the opposite of PvP: checking local and running to the POS as soon as anyone you don't know warps in, and being in a system where there is minimal conflict. Found out on top of that that small-scale 0.0 industrial work is not all that much better than small scale empire industrial work; the profit doesn't even double. I'll probably hit someone up near the end of my trial. This time I plan to go a more moderate route: rush to cruisers (maybe BCs, easier to pay for new cruisers that way) and then get involved in a corp (probably with a corp from here or from forumfall). Get myself a taste of some real PvP, something I only got once, namely when a pirate got me when I was running a L3 mission in an 0.3 system. Me in a Myrmidon, him in a Hurricane. Probably the most fun I've had in EVE, ever. I didn't have enough to pay the ransom though, so I got blown up. T2 light scout drones pwn the hell out of heavy drones, that's what I learned that day. Any suggestions on races? I've played all of them and have fondness in different ways for all of them, though I'm least fond of Caldari.

More importantly, your sig seems to imply that you played Dreamlords (an MMORTS-ish game) to some degree, did you?

Without leaking any specifics, how's the new version? I played briefly in the first beta, was kinda fun but I never really got past the initial obscenely easy PvE phase.
