I suck at Photoshop!

Howdy.

I suck at Photoshop. I'm terrible. I try to take an image, and make it look cool for a signature, and fail.

I've looked up and read guides online. I just don't have artistic talent, I suppose.

Thus, would someone be so kind as to make me a signature? 300x100 pixels. A matching avatar wouldn't be half bad, either. But I could make that just by cropping the signature..

If someone actually would give me a spare of theirs, or something, that'd be nice, too. All I require in the siggy is the name "Eknav Netu" down in a corner, very neat looking and some graphics. The graphics can be abstract, just like swirls of lavander and white, or a landscape with a nice sun with light rendering.

I know this is a lot to ask, but I really would just like to see what you guys can do. ;B

Also, if you have any tips/websites for a beginner Photoshopper, do tell!

Just because I suck at it doesn't mean I don't want to learn. :P

It takes a little while to be able to not follow a tutorial. Find a tutorial you like and try completing it 7 or so times with different renders and colors so you really learn the method.

Don't stop there, find another tutorial, you don't want all of your sigs to look the same.

I thought I had mentioned I read that already, but I re-looked and noticed I had forgotten to mention that fact. :P

That tutorial is great, sure, but for a -real- amateur, I need more. Like bluealien and Sebastian's posts. Little helpful hints like that is all I'm asking for. ^^

And yeah, like I said it is great, I've just gotta do what bluealien said and...go through it about 8 more times. >_>;

I don't know what it is, there's just so many options, I guess I'm not an artist so I don't understand what it means to "lighten" a color per se... I mean, I imagine it...getting...lighter... But sometimes it just flat out erases the color. ><

Oh well, I'll figure something out.

If a color won't appear light enough, try darkening the surroundings. It's all about the contrasts.
