Nave Radio

Nave Radio is a new and upcoming radio station for Mortal Online. Both co-founders of Nave Radio have a strong passion for the game, and wish it success. Even our motto “Bringing Mortal Online to the Masses” stems from this very passion. We are committed to providing each one of or listeners with a new and interactive way to learn, talk, and discuss Mortal Online. Below I am going to go into detail of how we are going to accomplish this feat, and I am also going to apologize beforehand for the wall of text.

Our Show Lineup

We at Nave Radio are committed to providing fun and interactive shows for new members of community, old members of the community, and even people that just enjoy good radio.

New Community Members
For our new member of community we will be providing shows that will be about the basics of Mortal Online. Many of these features have already been discussed or presented to the older members of the community, but our new members just might not be aware of them. These will basically be introductory shows, for anyone interested in playing Mortal Online, and wants to learn what the game is about.

Old Community Members
For our old members of the community we will have discussion based shows. What in Mortal Online can be made better? What is not in Mortal Online? What needs to be in Mortal Online? All these questions are discussed on the official forums, however we at Nave Radio want to provide you with the chance to present these same ideas in a new, and interactive way. When the game is released, we will also be providing news services to our listeners. Bear in mind, we will be respecting and enforcing the NDA for Mortal Online as long as it is in place.

Regular Radio Shows
Sometimes you just don’t want to listen to stuff about Mortal Online. We will have shows that have little or nothing to do with Mortal Online, but are geared towards what a regular radio show might present. They will be just plain enjoyable shows, where maybe you blow of some of the stress of your long day.

Lastly, we will be having 24/7 music for the music lovers, and will have an easy to use request system.

Community

At Nave Radio we are also committed to providing avenues for our listeners to interact with each other. We have a fully integrated chat system on our website. When you register you can immediately start using it, and start talking to people. We also have a social-networking system on our website, where you can stay in constant contact with other listeners, guilds mates, and friends from Mortal Online. With this social-networking system you can make groups, share pictures, and much much more. There is also a complete arcade system on the website with hundreds of game, so your can challenge you friends to a showdown. Lastly, we also have a forums section, where you can also go and chat/discuss with your fellow listeners.

Advertisement Services

We also provide advertisement services to individuals, guilds, groups, or organizations at a cost. This will be a great way to reach all of our listeners, or anyone that comes and views our website. For more information and pricing please check out this link http://www.naveradio.com/services

Conclusion

Our goal at Nave Radio is to provide a place for masses to know, and learn about Mortal Online. Hopefully we will be able to reach that goal with your help. Our first broadcast date will be Friday September the 11th 2009. This was at first chosen randomly, and only later we realized what exactly this date was. So in honor of all those that died, our website will be commercial free on this day, and we will have tribute before all of our shows.

So what is going to beat, or at the very least be your unique selling point, over MORadio??

They have Dev guests over there which is important... A radio show with no official input is just a sub standard audio chat platform..

Dont get me wrong, I applaud your efforts and will certainly give you a go.. Im just curious as to what you feel, MORadio is lacking that makes you want to put in the effort in, to at least copy something thats already pretty much established and working fine.

I would not like to take up discussion of what this service or that service is lacking. I believe MO-Radio is doing a good job on there part.

What are we aiming for?

What we at Nave Radio are aiming for more so a community rather then just a radio station. We want to provide a fun, and interactive for new people to be introduced to Mortal Online. We also want to provide these new people an easy place to find friends, and find a guild if they want to. We are listed on mmorpg.com for exactly this reason.

Ex. Social-Networking System, Shows Geared towards New Comers.

For older members we want to provide a new way to discuss ideas. Of course the ideas stay the same for the most part, unless new information comes through, however that does not mean that discussing an idea will not prove fruitful. We want to provide people with this avenue.

Ex. Forums, Integrated Chat, Newsletter, Shows.

We want to provide guilds that might new to Mortal Online to be able to build a solid base of players, interact with there members more, and Interact with fellows guilds more. We provide a social networking system, where we will hold contests for individuals, and guilds. We provide an arcade, where individuals and guilds can have showdowns.

There is a lot to us, however in the end it will all depend on you guys. So all i ask is give us a try, see how we are, and then make your decision.

Well today is the day.

Nave Radio is up and functional. We are already streaming music, so you can go listen to that right now. We will have our first show later today at 8:00 P.M CST. Nave Radio will be doing its FIRST SHOW in 1hr 30min.

We are streaming music 24/7 also, if that interests you.

We also will be introducing call in perhaps if you are in the USA. We have gotten a US telephone number which we might using to allow listeners to call in, and be live on shows. Still going through internal testing, hopefully testing will be done.

Unfortunately Turbo123 had a serious issue come. I am on-air atm doing a show with Maerlyn (Moderator) and doll.adam (community vent manager).

We are also going to be doing live calls. Yes when i mean i mean you call with your phone, and be live on the radio.

Download If you just want to download the show. Instructions below. 1. Go to www.naveradio.com 2. Look to the right hand side of the screen, under Radio Stream box you see a box labeled On Demand. 3. Click on the file name "Opening Show 9-11-2009" to download the file. Stream Yes you can listen to the file as stream as well. Instructions below. 1. Go to www.naveradio.com 2. Look to the right hand side of the screen, and look for the box labeled Radio Stream. 3. On the bottom of box should be player logos, Click your respective player logo to start our radio stream. 4. Right below Radio Stream box, is the On Demand content box. 5. Click the check box, so it has a check mark in it. 6. Now with our stream running click the button "play selected files".
