Question Is Eve worth a try?

Hey guys,

Kind of in a lull right now with games. Been playing a lot of Mount and Blade (and mods there of) but kind of want to screw around with something else.
I tried AoC but I just couldn't get into it no matter how hard I tried, even with the boobies I just got bored. I even played a little UO again, but after touring the cities and feeling the nostalgia I seemed to have gotten bored pretty quickly.

I've heard a lot aobut Eve, I know it's been around but from what I've read it sounds pretty fantastic.

So what do you think, worth a try?

It's hard to get into EvE at the start. I have heard people saying that fun starts after few months of playing, so I think trial might not be enough. At least it wasn't for me and I tried get into it twice . Got bored quickly.

Just finished the trial for eve myself and I have to say the game is great. Although this is my 2nd trial, there is still much for me to learn!

I didn't get to do that many pvp ops yet, as I'm only flying a rifter (which is like the best looking ship ever!!). But, to the few I've been acting as a scout/bait for the enemy, it was great!

If you want to have fun in eve at the beginning do some learning skills like lvl 3 to the basic ones and then do some frigate/cruiser /weapons etc skills... this will make it more fun as you would get to try a new ship, sadly it has a draw back. If you train more learning skills at first, then everything will be done faster. You can save a lot of time by doing that, although not in the trial period, but over the months/years

Good Hunting!

Yeah its fun but you need to learn allot before you really get any good at anything.
