I hope this topic isn't in another thread, if it is my apologies. I just want task people these 2 simple questions:

1) what was the very first MMO game you everplayed?

2) what was the very first MMOPRG you played, and how does it stack
up against today games?

1. What does an 'MMO' consist of, because an MMO is a Massively Multiplayer Online. The first largely multiplayer game based on multiplayer that I played was more than likely an obscure MUD back in the early 90s.

2. Games now have grown out of the shell that constrained MUDs, so they're extremely different, but I miss all the little details that went into MUDs and the sense of immersion you got from being part of a real community of people.
