Will alchemy have any transmutation to it, or magic process to it?

Is alchemy part of game ,I hope so.I know from single player games like Oblivion and The Witcher its great fun gathering ingredients and making potions

i don't believe they've said anything about transmutation. i would think alchemy is just mixing together ingredients to create potions like in most MMO's.

Alchemy could be really great if it became a developed job and specification in the game. What i mean is that you can train to be became a known alchemist and that you have no limits on your transmutation powers, the more you train the more you can do. I hope that they will find a system that doesn't limit your power to some know spells and transmutations. It would be great if you could create your own formulas... and who knows... one day some one could create a homonculus...

I just want poison potions that I can splash on my weapons, hehe. Even if it does give is a huge durability loss.
