I have only ever seriously played one MMO, and thats Roma Victor. After 3 years of disapointment with that game though most of us ended up moving on. Been following Darkfall's progress for a few years as well, but I found out about MO from a forum thread in Roma Victor ironically.

After a short run with M59 i went UO until EQ(on and off 5 years, mostly on Sullon Zek) > Shadowbane > DaoC > AO > EQ2 (Nagafen) > Eve Online > Vanguard SoH.
Tried a few other mmo's since, but not counting those that i've only played for a few weeks. LOTRO/ WoW and such. Last edited by Scysorn : 22nd December 2008 at 18:15. |

Okay...I started with World of Warcraft on the german RP-PvE Server "Die silberne Hand". During this time I also looked at "Everquest 2", "Vanguard SoH" and "Dungeons and Dragons Online". The "Lord of the Rings Online" game was my second stop and I settled there for about one year or more. Currently I'm an - more or less - active player at "Age of Conan" and I'm looking forward to settle down in Mortal Online :-).

UO was the most indepth game i ever played!! Thoe i never had alot of time to get into it.. I am thrilled i have the chance to get involved in another simular indepth MMO, Except one that is elevated to the next level of MMO gameing.. I was a avid WOW player for a few years, but i found it too cartoony to get into the game completely, But MO is going to fix that issue for me it seems

Played EQ2 (meh) for a couple of years, off-and-on, then Vanguard SOH. I'm still subscribed to VG but am looking at MO to see if it will be my new "home." VG just isn't going far enough for me. Too much deviation from The Vision(tm). Don't get me wrong, it's still a beautiful and fun game that offers a lot of awesome features, but I think MO will offer more for me. Time will tell.

My daughter introduced me Runescape
Right now, I'm playing EVE Online casually. I guess what I'm looking for is a fantasy-setting game that has these features: challenging, emotional-high gameplay (PvP and PvE (I'm glad to hear that CEO of Star Vault stated they build the game from ground up on pvp mechnics and put PvE on top of that)), fun, detailed crafting systems, a realistic, open, dangerous world, and most important, the players are the ones who call the shots. I guess what other players are yearning for a UO-style MMO. That might be a missing void that I was trying to find one by playing many MMOs and couldn't quite find it. I certainly hope Mortal Online might be the one what I'm looking for. |

EQ, WOW, EVE-ONLINE
I'm wanting to find someting different and TBH new. I was going to try dungeons and dragons and then I remembered.......I have had nothing but bad times with that game on and off for the last 14 years

Lets see..first there was DAoC, then WoW, then LOTRO, Vanguard, then EVE, then AoC, currently playing War, still trolling the DF forums and here.
There's a bunch of fps and rts games intermixed in there somewhere. |

I did a little thing in Star Wars Galaxies, then it was World of Warcraft, then Lord of the Rings, then World of Warcraft again. Had a great time in World of Warcraft for many years.
Never played Ultima Online, and never will. I'm not sure I'll be handle the Hardcore PvP and Full Loot sustem, but if I don't like it, I'll just stop my subscription, it's as simple as that. Then again, I might think it's great fun and go nuts, killing scammers and PKs left and right, who knows? Time will tell. Last edited by Reclusiarch : 4th January 2009 at 11:30. |
