Smile 2 small Questions: 1 traversing landscapes, 2 racial attributes

In the skill overview section of the MO home page it was mentioned in the form of an example, that increasing our climbing ability is possible through the skill tree system. My question is: will sacrificing points into climbing open up all of the world terrain for the players use? Or will there be designated "climbing spots" (i.e AoC )

I have read there will be unique racial attributes in MO. My question is: will we see racial attributes that only affect standard stats like strength, agility or constitution, or we will see any racial attributes similar to these examples > I.E A Human-Cat hybrid race with a natural ability to see in the dark for a short period of time. Or something like a Human-lizard hybrid race that can naturally hold their breath underwater far longer than other races.

Thanks.

And my question would be, is Climbing will be something like in Assassin's Creed? We are already know that we could climb in a building, but to get such details as AC in animations is really lots of work.

Though, not a lot of work from the first person perspective i wouldn't think...

To that, your post totally got me thinking about climbing in MO.... while it could very well be similar to the other games, first person view along with the engine itself, could open up new&unique climbing aspects for MMORPG fans.

I really hope theres no preset climbing areas, and the climbing in AC was not very realistic, but climbing could be alot of fun. All I say is that make sure your alone when climbing else your likely to take a few arrows in your back.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If it's broke, sell it for half price.

Keep your friends close and your enemies out of business. Undercut them. Outmaneuver them. Shoot them. Whatever works.

Totally agree. It would be cool if grapple hook skills were available and were set as secondary skill to agility or something, so thief or assassin style players can ninja around into certain places using a hook and rope.

Not a lot of work?Man,this is not a single player game Even if from first person view you don't see yourself climbing, there are others that see you

So,it's the exact same amount of work, because if for example you climb a building and someone else climbs the building after you,he see's all your moves, all your grips,everything...So the DEVs need to work on this feature just as much as the AC's DEV,get it?

If this was a single player, your affirmation would make sense...but since it's an MMO,I say the DEVs need to work just as much as they would need to with 3rd person view

AoC did a very good job proving that it was possible to implement all those single player features you state as, impossible to include in an MMO, i found those aspects refreshing.

Quote me where I said that it's impossible I never said such thing.Read my post again, all I said is that it doesn't matter if it's first person view or 3rd person view, because it's a MMO so the amount of work required for the features is not influenced by the view, therefore the DEVs need to work just as much with 1st person view,as they would have to work with 3rd person view.

It's hard work, but not impossible, nor unnecessary(I would love it also).
