Its called sacrificing real life simulation boredom vs good gameplay.

Are you complaining that the guilds should be 700-1000 people to be able to sail such ships? If so... WTF?

Your list of reasons for losing interest in DF were all visual, proving that your opinion in general about what a good mmo is, does not matter, at all to anyone, but the creators of Age of Conan and their flock of tools.
