Yea, that one name per server thing is really annoying. Sounds like they just want to save database space or be lazy about things, I really don't know what the purpose is anyhow, besides promote that 'everyone is special' attitude.

whoa, wtf rathius. my teachers told me i was special all the time when i was a kid. so did my mom.... are you calling my mom a liar..?

I always thought it would be cool, that your entire account would have a Surname. Any character made under that account would have your last name. And thats how you would message people. Everybody would have their own lineage or family of characters.

Also, you have to have unique first names too, but ultimately you would send tells through surnames, and people would probably end up addressing each other by their last names.

Of course everyone is special... just not in the way they would like to think? lol

I guess just to clarify that statement, I mean where all the quests are available to everyone, everyone gets to be the hero, even if by the story you are supposed to be 'The One'. So if everyone ends up being the hero, it really takes a good chunk of meaning out of the title that you have. Sure you could still say "I did it," but so can almost every other person on the server.
