Default Diabolos Entry

Creature: Daemonos

History: 2 mighty champions were in an age old battle, one champion being a powerful daemon fighting with a rhinoceros demi-god. The daemon champion was fighting to enter the realm in which they are not allowed, and the rhinoceros was fighting to keep the daemon out of the realm. This mighty battle made such a thunder that it caught the attention of a great human champion passing through the semi-realm.

The human champion joined the battle and struck the mighty daemon down with his great weapon. This did not please the daemon lord nor the
rhinoceros god, as this was not a matter for humans, which led to a pakt between the two foes letting the daemon access into the realm only under the watchful eye of the rhinoceros god - enter the Daemonos; part rhino and part daemon.

Options:

Weapons: Any type
Armour: Upper body plate to light depending on career.

This is my idea so far, I'll be adding gear and textures to it over time.

tbh I don't like the idea of a rhino and daemon hybrid.
Going further, I see nothing creative here, just replicating existing concepts.
Although upper body is nicely done (maybe despite horns, they lack of details)
Hmm...deamon in your avatar looks quite interesting

btw: why all of you are using an unreadable fonts.
It just burns my eyes when I try to read that.
Yesterday a guy hit so hard with a font in questions section , that I thought I'll throw at him a stool through tcpip protocol.

<Khaine> I gotta lose some weight for MO. The fat around my armpit won't allow me to play as effective as I wish.

Is that done in z-brush, it looks ace. Cant wait to see it with textures, and it will be interesting to see what else you come up with. The Rhino thing is a bit mad but i see what your trying to do. Nice effort, wish i could produce that kind of quality, how long did it take.

Thank you, I use Maya 2008 and it took me 2 days. I may texture it tomorrow.

i like the design, and the daemon/rhino combo is somewhat odd, but original and interesting nonetheless. i feel like it's a little similar to my idea though, since my original idea was to have the upper body of a krampus (depicted as a daemon in pagan celebrations), but with the legs of a horse instead of a rhino. but.. i guess that's why i find it interesting. anyways, i look forward to seeing the textures.

I love that model. That creature is very creative, it would be kinda fun to fight one of those in battle.

I agree. Nice details on the weapon too. Textures would really complete this guy as he looks like he could have such interesting bumpy, crinkly rhino skin.
I've played around with 3d packages but I don't have this level of skill by any means.

One slight critique (very slight) I think he could be slightly more hunched over so that if you were to visualize a backbone starting in the rhino portion it could go relatively smoothly into the demon portion. As it is, it looks like he could have two seperate spines with a large amount of flesh where they merge. I don't know how hard this would be to do though, it could look wrong the way I'm thinking of it, I wouldn't really know until I saw it.
