I didn't really read your post describing the purpose of the site and I certainly didn't read the site either. Gray on gray? Are you blind? They colours are so similar the font so damn small it makes it really hard to read.

Yep change font color to white or something that is easier to read and change the font of link's abit bigger it's hard to even read those now.

I really liked the colors for some reason, guess you're right it was pretty hard to see though.

Ah, that's a lot better.

Seems like a cool idea. Seems weird to add an extra step in between opening my browser and checking this my forums though. What other kind of things do you want to have on there?

I don't want to draw people from the DF and Mortal forums, its just a database.

Basicly, when I get alittle more time, and if it isnt against any TOS I will set up a RSS Feed that will automaticly send all posts by devs and all news posted on both websites directly to my blog. This way I know i'm not missing anything

Other then that I will have every Screenshot, Interview, FAQ, and Video known to man on the site.

I won't have a forum just because both games do a good job of it already.

Its mainly just a place for me to keep all info and read the rss feed so I don't miss anything when I dont have the time to check the forums.

Ok, changed the name to Full Loot.. I think it's alittle more fitting, also Mortal Online Faq is done.. Next is Darkfall Faq *HUGE* lol..

It says "Welcome to Full Loot.com" but http://www.fullloot.com doesn't look anything like it. I'd buy the domain for you if you really want to start a full loot community site for gamers who like sandbox style MMOs with full loot, full pvp, and sieging mechanics. There's a lot of us out there, and it seems we are followers of splinter of the MMORPG genre that is truly developing into its own type of game. I think the MMORPG acronym fails to encompass this kind of game anymore.

Which is really a shame, because full loot/player freedom MMOs were really the first ones being made... the popularization of mass-production, low quality PvE grinds just kind of ruined it for the whole genre. I would be happy to contribute to anything that could unify those of us still looking to promote the freedom based ideals of gaming.

However, Shawk, I don't think you're old enough or experienced enough to really get something like that accomplished. I hope the blunt honesty isn't offensive, but you seem kind of overeager and far too willing to indulge wishful thinking. Please, prove me wrong if you can. Just try to be pragmatic and realistic.

I'm Kyur on the Darkfall forum, I'm a member of Dead-Eternity, I joined the Darkfall forums/community in 2002. I have been watching Darkfall since then, though I try to stay away from the forums as much as possible... for obvioius reasons.

I was going to post this in the Darkfall forums when I was done the Darkfall information, But I plan the Darkfall FAQ to be huge, it will take me 2 or 3 days for me to compile all the information and organize it into a proper FAQ. I already have about 180 questions organized into 10 Categories.. I think I will get to something more like 14 categories and 500 questions answered.

I would have posted this on the Darkfall forums, 5 years ago maby, but not now. Those forums are full of people that post for the 1000+ 2000+ 3000+ ranking, I really did not feel like having a hundred people comment on my site, I know it would be trashed at first, kinda like here, but 20 times more

As for the Domain, I am not completely set on the FullLoot.com name yet which is why I havnt changed the Domain yet, I really dont like the 3 L's in a domain, it just seems weird to me, I like the name and it does go well with my concept though, so I am thinking something like Full-Loot.com. And I agree, I mean the fact that Fullloot.com is available proves that the hardcore pvp community is very much ignored, I really want somewhere people who like these games can go to find out about MMO's of this type.

As for help, I would probably make a forum later, with your forumfall experience you would probably make an awsome mod. Any help with FAQ/Media/Clan information gathering would be much appreciated, I'm not going for the biggest clan database just because I only want the most active clans in database not inactive clans..

Quick update,

Completely revamped FAQ, now it has every Question answered on it right now, Also no longer a Darkfall and Mortal fansite, Just Mortal Online. Other then that if you want your guild added to the guild list send me a PM, Making a quild form but not done yet.

Oh, btw, don't view the FAQ in Internet Explorer, you will lose the categories.. Gotta fix that too

It's because the font is "Times New Roman". Times New Roman is good on paper, not on screen.

i must admit that right now i have to ctr+A or copy & paste it to somewhere else just to be able to read.... dark colors on dark backgrounds (just like light colors on light backgrounds) are a problem IMO.

other then that, i like the effort & always appreciate a good fan site

Yeah if it weren't for the "magnifying glass" feature on my mouse I'm not sure that I could read it without highlighting the text either.
