Played it for a while. It's pretty good. Would be cool if the aspect of The Guild 2 were to be implemented into MO ^^

I was thinking of "getting" it but if it has multiplayer then I may buy it, this and the settlers.

Basically the same as in normal Dynasty Mode really, but with two people in two families, or u can have 2 people + 10 other families given the map...

Really good and under-rated game. Only thing that annoys me is a bug with the carts, where they all get stuck and go around in circles. So the AI dies out quickly because they don't sell anything. :O

The game has too many flaws. The idea of the game is great and there are a lot of things that I really like about it, but there are too many small gamebreakers. Like how you can only govern three of your family members at a time. Some may call it tactics, but I think they should at least have made it optional. For me it ruins the feeling of building a dynasty, when it never really grows beyond three members.

Also, as you said, the IA is really bad. It's not just because of bugs, it's bad. If they make a 'The Guild 3' I will definitely try it out, and hope they have fixed all this.

I don't think its anything like those games mentioned at all..it's not a fantasy RPG
I remember it primarily as a strategy game
I have to be honest it received bad reviews on Gamespot but I bought it anyway and didn't enjoy it
I stopped playing after about 8 hours .Maybe I should have given it longer ?

I wouldnt trust Gamespot as their review scores increase with the amount of money they receive from the publishers.

A game can take forever like pretty much any RTS, but you can play with different goals, like be the last play alive, reach XXXX in gold or reach the highest title etc.
