I was pumped Agressive Stance to 95 or more and after the next login in game, I found that this skill now I do not have. Who will explain this to me?
Now I do not have any skill (Agressive stance) or skill Points

So I finally got into the game and when I'm actually playing it, it seems to run fine.
However, only after a few minutes of playing the game stops and I'm greeted with a windows message, which says something like Rendering thread exception: Direct3DDevice ->CreateTexture( SizeX, SizeY, NumMips, blahblahblah it goes on for a bit at the bottom it has 3 adresses in which the filename is not found Address=0x7c812afb Address=0x641331 Address=0x641331 (yes it lists the same one twice like this) I'm not doing anything specific in game when this happens. It just does. So what's up? How can I fix this? Are other people still having this problem? |

When I tried to connect to the game I got an error message saying:
Ran out of memory. To prevent this condition, you must free up more space on you primary harddisk. Adress = 0x75f09617 (filename not found) Address = 0x641331 (filename not found) Address = 0x641331 (filename not found) And when I checked my harddisk space I still had 100gb. |

P. I Crash In Game, Virtual memory error or E_OUTOFMEMORY error S. reduce all texture size to 512 or below and no shadows. this will make your game much more stable. the memory the error is talking about its the virtual memory. reducing your textures to 512 or below should fix it.

MANY OF US ARE GETTING:
Specifically im getting this the second the char select screen loads ----------- Assertion failed: Region.Texture2D->ResidentMips >= CompositeResource->NumMips [File:c:\Users\ByggareBob\MO\PatchBuild\UnrealEngin e3\Development\Src\Engine\Src\Texture2DComposite.c pp] [Line: 341] Stack: Address = 0x0 (filename not found) Address = 0x7c812afb (filename not found) [KERNEL32.dll] Address = 0x641331 (filename not found) [MortalOnline.exe] Address = 0x678248 (filename not found) [MortalOnline.exe] ------------ I've reinstalled 3 times, 1 of which downloading all new patch files, reloaded my OS, tried various vid drivers, mem tests both mobo and video... the list goes on. I've been troubleshooting every possible angle i could for 2 weeks. I use to think something w/ my vid card is funky.. but several other new games work flawlessly maxed out. Im clueless at this point. Especially to the fact that this developed out of no where... ive played for a week after release and then BOOM! ERROR CITY! |

MSVCR90.dll: This file usually got to do with Microsoft visual studio. something with the Redistributing Visual C++ Files... try cleaning your drivers with Driver Sweeper to remove Drivers that might collide in your computer, this program will remove all the drivers related to ATI and NVidia, but do it on your own risk.
you should probably clean your computer. many people who got problems are just having a dirty dirty comp.

Thanks, I'll give it a go, systems don't typically get much cleaner than this, wiped everything and installed win 7 64 pro about a week ago. Win 7 could be part of the problem though, as not all hardware has proper drivers for it yet, or so it would seem.

Finally a launcher update seems to have finally allowed me to install MO (multiple times now due to my new crash). I can get to character creation and have made three characters in different areas just in case I was crashing out due to starting location. Unfortunately the farthest I have gotten after selecting a character and hitting play is a partial turn of the sword/metal T thingie, then a freeze and MortalOnline.exe gives a lovely crash message. that it has encountered a problem and has to close.
I am running XP with a core2 duo 2.53 ghz, 4 gb of ram, HD5750 radeon. I played the beta just fine and have no trouble running other games. any tips would be much appreciated. forgot to mention I did the turning the daylight savings off trick. Update: a full client integrity scan (one of the options when you open the launcher) found 8 bad files from my install which it proceeded to fix. While this kept MO from crashing on the loading screen, it seems logging in all of my characters results in a perpetual spinning sword. Last edited by Ignominus : 22nd July 2010 at 09:43. |

Yeah I just got MO again, installed it, let it do all its updates. Now its frezning on the splash screen again.. My drivers are all updated, my gc is better then the one I played on here with last time. I turned down the sound to 16bits. and its still acting funky.
