Girls playing this besides me o-o. I mostly play games like Ragnarok Online, FFXI and Mabinogi, but wanted to try this because of how different it is from any other MMO I've tried. I like the openness and first person view. Though the most important thing in any MMO for me at least is the community.

Trust me, there is a surprisingly big female MO player base. And some of them are real bad asses too.

The ones I met so far (I had the very fortunate pleasure to have some of them as guests on my show and we even have a very nice female radio-host at MO-Radio), are nice, hardcore and PvP not bad at all

I even turned the table on that cliché and next Saturday, when we going to have the live Newbie-Show, Cevoia will be the Pro and I am the noob.

And the thing with the nerd-girl-social-game, is overrated. It is more of a teaser and after all, most of us are nerds, that consider nerd-dom funny enough...
What most nerds didn't get yet is, that the nerd-virus caught the female population too by now. (Lucky me figured that one out some years ago - which made me look a little less like a nerd ^^)

Anyways, I really don't care if the player behind the screen is a male or female tbh. if you're friendly, and a great person to be around, your gender shouldnt be of issue.

Edit:besides, most of the chicks who play this game are either old, or just plain out weird.

Like in every game your going to get a percentage of women playing but its (almost) always going to be allot smaller then the amount of guys playing.

Not to mention you wont get an honest number seeing as how most veteran girl gamers keep it to themselves that they are women in real life.

tl;dr: Most likely yes but not allot.

Yes there are a few out there. Unfortunately they will mostly keep their gender to themselves as alot of the males here/ingame won't have the social skills to interact with them without being a douche if they know they are female.

Speak for yourself, spamming them with my MSN screen name is the best way to get women. I do it IRL as well, I carry flash cards with my internet handle on them and toss them at womens faces that I like on the street.

Tiger lilly has a female leader, although I really, really dont know if that will be your sort of thing to be honest.

I know some gamer girls, that would make you drool and make you forget whatever a hussey is. and I know girls that fit your description of those girls perfectly and they would never play a game, some might never even could, even if their lives would depend on it.

I actually met more then one female pro gamer clans while working for a game zine and trust me... there not only on fire while pushing buttons.

but be honest, most gamer chicks have something wrong with them , half the time the hot ones are never really "gamers" , but rather just play games to play them, or find a easy way to get publicity.

Having worked at Gamestop for awhile, and have visited several conventions, gamer girls aren't really all that chucked up to be. infact my EX was heavily into MMOs, although its fun to talk about games and stuff with your friends, try doing it on a daily basis with the one you sleep with/see everyday. it'll drive you mad, esp when they are better than you (ingame)

Now the person im seeing currently isnt into games as much, but she plays and understands when ever i tell her i accomplished something decent ingame, and understands when im busy (raiding/pvp) etc, although i dont game as much as i used to before i entered college, gamer girls are nothing to be excited over.

I tried out the "hot" gamer girls and and really didn't see what all the fuss was about. The only plus was that they gave me free shit in game and they wouldn't bug me when i was raiding and I gotta say if you consider that a long term relationship bonus you got your priorities messed up.

No, its not that, i mean in a more annoying way, i was never a great raider, and quite frankly i knew it, but she always pressured me into going onto these raids that took 3 and 4 hours to complete. and when i screwed up something I was the one to hear the never ending nagging. anyways my point is
