However, I know that last thing any Guild or Alliance leaders wants to bother themselves with is my incessant pestering for daily BR's and the like. If anyone wants to write BR's please go speak your Guild and Alliance leaders. In most cases they would probably welcome having someone else I can go annoy the hell out of for BR's. *Disclaimer* Obviously I get tons of updates from various people whenever something goes down. I do my best to provide as non-biased and clear of an update as I can, but can only provide updates based on the info I have on hand at the time. If I have only one side of a story, and am unable to get the other side of a fight, or if there are conflicting reports (as is pretty much always the case) I will do my best to report it as accurately as I can, but mistakes will be made. Hate me of love me, make very little difference to me. If you wish to rage out on me for a bad report that is fine by me, I only ask you include some info on the battle or event under discussion within that rage. =P

A great PvE and social opportunity for many players...but also a great PvP opportunity for more murderous members of the community... After hearing word about the event, myself, Zarax, Monty and CamelToe(lol) altered our plans immediately and headed straight to cavecamp. Upon arrival we found a TOP member called Halcyon. He fought surprisingly well but was brought down fairly quickly after losing his horse. We then moved towards the priest, where we encountered numerous Risars. They were between us and a large group of players who were farming at the other side. Instead of joining in the PvE Picnic we decided to see what impact we could make against a group of 15+ players. We tried hit and run attempts multiple times but only succeeded in a couple of kills due to heavy opposition including numerous mages. During one attempt of charging the opposing force Monty crashed and was swarmed by more than half a dozen eager players who mercilessly killed him before his character was out of game. CamelToe was killed while trying to defend him. Soon after, my horse was killed during a retreat from the main group and so Zarax and myself, deciding to play safe, dropped down behind cave camp to safety. While pondering what course of action to take I was contacted by Gigamo from Invictus, who informed me of an offensive that would soon take place against the large force who at this point were focusing on killing the Risar Lord. We decided quickly that it was worth temporarily allying with a hostile alliance for such an amazing PvP opportunity, and so we grouped up with Stabby, Physco and NinjaNinja, and then headed to the rendevouz point in the hills above cave camp where more than 10 fully armed Ascension and RUS fighters were already assembled. Then we waited. When the Risar Lord was reported to have been brought to 25% health we began our descent to Cave Camp. More than 15 heavily armed reds came down into the plain, and charged. Even though the opposing force was very large and involved numerous players from Chaos Alliance and TOP Alliance, they were largely unorganised, and as soon as the first of the reds came crashing into their lines, they panicked, and began to scatter like insects. Most of those who stayed to fight were destroyed within minutes (though they managed to kill one or two) and our force set about killing the enemies as they routed. At this point the server crashed, and the Risar Lord disappeared. Upon the server restart, our force logged in en masse to find very few opponents remaining, though a few more kills were to be found scattered around. The Risar Lord was then spawned with 100% health, and we set about killing it. It was a fairly boring fight. One mob with a massive health pool being DPS'd by about 10 players. Most of the damage inflicted on players came from friendly fire due to mistakes and buggy tracing. Eventually the Risar Lord was killed, with just a few interruptions caused by naked enemies who rezzed to be a nuisance. Loot was mediocre, pretty much the same as a Chieftain, though it took 100x the time to kill. The force then began to disperse peacefully. I ventured into one of the caves to look for players who might be hiding, and upon my exit I found that all of my allies had left, and enemies were gathered at the Cave Camp bank. The first armed target I saw was Eladriel, who I engaged without hesitation, taking him completely unawares, and killing him swiftly. I then set about being a dick and killing everyone I saw, until finally a challenge arose in the form of Inquisitor, a TOP red, and Hadrian, a TOP mage. Seeing that I was at a disadvantage I began to fall back towards the drop-off with the two of them pursuing. Hadrian came forward over the hills confidently, about 20 metres ahead of Inquisitor, and so I rushed him and performed a Mercy Mode kill infront of Inquisitor, who soon came running at me, weapon drawn. I blocked the first attack and then focused on aggression, eventually forcing Inquisitor into making a mistake and changing to a defensive style. I took advantage of this and drove 6 attacks into him without receiving one in return, leaving him a bloody, tattered corpse on the hillside. I then slipped down the drop-off and continued on my aimless quest of annihilation. Big thanks to the guys at Starvault and good fight to VAL, Aco, FOR, TOP, DC, Invictus, Reign, Rus, Daeo and all others involved. I hope to see more of this in the future. ------9/29------ A few interesting developments have been going on the past few days. One that deserves a write up as it could potentially have a a huge impact is some recent disagreements between AI and Prometheus on their Treaty of Amaruk Nuur. Today Prometheus approached AI about their payments that they have owed them for the Treaty of Amaruk Nuur that was signed after the short war following 13th Prophecy building their keep on Combat Beta Island. The treaty is pretty clear in that for repercussions of starting a war AI would play 50 gold a week for 20 weeks to total 1K gold. However AI has become 3 weeks late with this payment. Shinzon the person who normally takes care of this is out of town, and the person he left in charge isn't authorized to take care of it. So will not make payments until Shinzon is back. Now this in it self isn't surprising to anyone and an obvious move for both would be to just wait until Shinzon is back in a few days..... Except that both sides seem very close to voiding the treaty on a number of different reasons. On the AI side of things, they say Prom has been attacking SS quite frequently. And while the treaty is between AI and Prom and not TnA and Prom the first article of the treaty states that, "Both Contracting Parties thus undertake to cease hostilities, to maintain peaceful relations between them and to mutually respect the territorial integrity and inviolability of the other Contracting Party." AI reads this as any pvp with in TnA being hostile action against AI and thus goes against the treaty. The fifth article states that "Each Contracting Party is responsible for taking steps to ensure that neither they, their governing body nor any of their subjects or citizens (nor any other individual who comes under its jurisdiction) violates the treaty." According to AI the pvp with SS and even a few AI who have been killed has broken article one and thus article 5 as well and therefor caused the treaty to be void and no more need of payments. On the Prom side of this is the fact they haven't payed the 50 gold owed them each of the past 3 weeks. According to Prom that is in violation of article 3 of the treaty and thus obviously article 5. This one is pretty cut and dry, however Shinzon did not leave any info with anyone in AI on this so has become complicated. A few suggestions have been put forth to try to settle things between the two parties and avoid the treaty becoming nullified and war starting back up between Prom and AI (thus TnA). One suggestion was that the treaty be voided completely. I get the impression that neither party wants this and both parties would rather maintain peace between them. Another suggestion was that Prom would NAP TnA, but this was flatly refused by Prom as they would believe this would be seen as picking a side in the current war TnA has with 13. Especially since Prom currently has 13 as KOS. The other suggestion being that they amend the treaty to enable the parties to KOS each other, but to avoid asset distruction. In that the problems of pvp happening between Prom and other guilds who are allied to AI wouldn't become such an issue, and all out war could be avoided. However while Prom didn't want to NAP TnA, AI doesn't want to amend the treaty to allow pvp with out asset destruction as to them amending the treaty to allow KOS and pvp with out asset destruction is voiding the treaty all together. Near the end AI did somewhat agree to paying the back pay for the last three weeks that went unpaid but that the future payments would no longer need to be payed. This was obviously unacceptable to Prom and at this point talks had closed down with the mediator needing to leave. At this point the AI rep that was there suggested waiting until Shinzon comes back in a few days, but Prom seemed a bit frustrated and annoyed at this point and not sure they will wait. So stand by this weekends as there very well may be some large developments in this war going on in the north. One thing that has been made clear to me however is that even if the treaty is voided and the old war between Prom and AI starts back up, it will be just that. Between Prom and AI. Obviously both sides know AI = TnA, but Prom has said they will keep 13 as KOS for the time being but might be open to discussions with them. -------8/15-------- Chaos Alliance lose first keep... To a thief... In a very EVEesk turn of events the first keep taken in MO was in the form of a stolen keep deed. While out scanning for keep spots the architect needed to relog and while reloging had the deed stolen from him by a alliance mate by the name of Mifeiht (im thief spelled backwards). Here is what princereaper, leader of GD had to say... "Chaos alliance went to find their keep spot with a group of around 30 people. On our search we had no trouble with PK attacks as far as the security of the deed was concerned. When our architect needed to relog one of our own members committed the foul and treacherous act of stealing the deed from his own guild mates" Ultimately the keep belonged to Acolytes. They had payed for it with WZ and GD agreeing to supply the mats. The thief was a member of GD. ~Discussion thread can be found here~ -------7/28-------- Chaos Alliance On Tuesday Acolytes, Ghost Division, and Wolfzeit have joined forces to create the new Chaos Alliance. According to WZ this new alliance will have no effect on their ongoing war with Forsaken. However, the sharp drop in fights in the area suggests that it actually might have some effect. Quite a few local residents have been reportet saying that WZ has moved out of the area, possibly to Meduli. A scribe travelling north yesterday, visiting various alliances communities, reports Acolytes building a brand new house among 4 other TOP Alliance houses. According to Acolytes, they had talked to TOP and been approved for this spot, but their allegiance lies with the new Chaos Alliance not TOP. "Gaul'Kor Crew Alliance In addition to the new Chaos Alliance another alliance was announced yesterday on Bevo's Guild Spotlight of the Week show at Mortal Online Radio . AQ, Reign, and TBH announced on the show tha they have established a new alliance. They have not come forward with an official name yet, however many in the community have dubbed this new alliance the "Gaul’Kor Crew". On the show they stated they wish to first establish a firm control on Gaul’Kor, possibly build some houses in the area, and work on better communication with one another. The also have plans to remove Myrmidon from Gaul’Kor. As an ambitious long term goal they stated they wish to destroy Prometheus Alliance and take over their keep spot. -------7/21-------- Well the war between Forsaken and WZ has gotten a lot more interesting! The past few days Forsaken has been gathering intel trying to find out where WZ's house was located at. They had run into a one person in particular, Ariel, who had claimed to be from a guild named Hand of Doom (HoD) who owned a house they believed to be WZ. Having never heard of this guild and being unable to find anything about the guild actually existing they began gathering as much intel as possible on WZ. They finally were able to connect Ariel's IP to that of MisterX from WZ. Once they were able to know for sure that they were one and the same tonight they put to gather a group of 20 that was a mix of Forsaken and a couple hired mercenaries proceeded to destroy WZ's house. Grats on the house kill. Hopefully we can get some good fights and more good battle reports between WZ and Forsaken in the near future. -------7/18-------- Ok, well tonight I have a few updates for us all. ICE has disbanded, Forsaken has been added to the OP with their list of NAPs and their current conflict with WZ, Audacian Republic has signed a NAP with Legio Aquila, and I have added a new alliance of German speaking guilds that I call G Alliance. I have spoken to a few of the leaders in ICE to try to get a background on what has brought about their dissolution. From what I have gathered it was sadly very un-dramatic. I have added Forsaken to our Political thread! Welcome to MO Politics guys, where very little happens. lol. However on that note there is some politics that they are bringing in with them. They have wardeced WZ from the German Alliance. I do not believe any of the other German guilds are involved in this conflict. I'll try to find out some more on this. One of the other German guilds has signed a NAP with AR. This guild is Legio Aquila (LA). Only LA has signed this NAP, so it is not with any of the other guilds involved in the new to the political scene G Alliance. Finally continuing on with this German Alliance.... Being that I am from EVE I just had to dub them G Alliance. They do not have another proper name that I know of but that name worked great for the Germans in EVE and I'm sure they wouldn't mind it for now in MO. If they do we can change that. Who are they and where are they from?? They consist of 4 guilds that I know of. Wolfszeit, Gothic, Legio Aquila, and Bregan d'earth. Wolfszeit is a quite active guild in MO with around 20 active players. They host and run the German MO site you can find HERE. They are pretty much the leaders of this alliance. They are pvpers from Age of Conan on the RP-PVP server Asgard. From there they found out about MO and created the German MO site long time ago and have built from there. BD is playing MO, and also TERA and Darkfall. I don't know much of their history in any other games. LA is a small guild that I also know very little about. There was a guild by the same name in Darkfall (I believe with Hyperion at the start) and I do not know if they are one and the same. Gothic is a very large gaming community founded back in 2004. I believe they have around 800 members in tons of games ranging from AOC, AION, DF, EQ2, LOTRO, WOW, War, and others. They are known from their MMO radio they have. Obviously their presence in MO isn't nearly as large as other games, but they certainly do have something to add. For the most part G Alliance is RP friendly with some very strong RP guilds mixed with some PVP and crafters. They base mostly out of Meduli and Vadda and Moh-ki. -------7/15-------- A quick update on a new fight dusting up, up north. Apparently TOP has wardeced Argonauts, and Reign. I contacted TOP and have had it confirmed by multiple officers that Argonauts and Reign have been attacking TOP so now TOP is planing on fighting back. I have made a number of attempts to reach anyone from Argonauts and Reign but have only been able to get hold of one of their miners who didn't feel like commenting. Hopefully I can get hold of someone from that side of the fight soon.Talked to L from Argonauts, who seems to be happy to keep fighting TOP. Apparently they attacked some TOP at one of the houses near the Mage Tower, and were able to get away with some pretty good loot after get into one of the houses and winning a few fights. Then TOP set up a nice ambush for them on their way back near the tunnel, but Argonauts and R, circled around and were able to get away. -------7/13-------- Just a small update on the two guilds being talked about in respect to TOP Alliance. Last week I started getting a lot of questions about whether or not TBH and TBG had joined TOP Alliance. Well on Friday I went and spoke to them all on the TT vent that was not the case. They were in discussions on the possibility of joining TOP. In a type of trial period. However there were a few issues that each party needed to work out. For one both TBG and TBH are very small guilds, but they needed to work out whether or not they would get a house spot. If you remember from the negotiations I had reported on between ICE Alliance and TOP Alliance after that whole fiasco over the house ICE put up, I had reported that TOP would get the upper 4 house spots (which included the house ICE placed) and ICE would get the lower 8 house spots. This was incorrect. Sorry about that. But TOP would get the upper 4 house spots and some of the lower 8 house spots. But there are still a limited amount of spots, so this was one of the concerns between TBG/H and TOP. The other concerns being the normal concerns any guilds and alliances have on whether or not they would work well together, so there has been some sort of trial period. On Friday they told me to check back on Monday, and that trial should be about done, and they would have more to tell me. So I agreed to hold off on an update until early this week. However, they are still in trial. There was some talk about the possibility of merging into a guild already in TOP, but it isn't a given yet. Currently they are still not members of TOP yet. They are all playing together and hanging out on vent together, and seem to get along very well. Seems they are still in some sort of early dating trial area and just haven't pulled the trigger and joined, or been accepted in yet. Also, hopefully by the end of this week I should have some other big news (completely separate from TOP) so keep checking back for that. -------7/03-------- Peace has been settled between ICE and PRX/TT/OUTs with some assistance of AI in the meeting. My understanding of the agreements is that PRX/TT/OUTs has paid the cost of the house put down by ICE and they have settled on who will build where. TT Alliance will have the 4 spots at the top of the hill where they have their current house, and ICE had put down a house that started this skirmish. ICE will take the 8 spots at the bottom of the hill below the mage tower. Together they will be setting up a nice little trading community in that area around CC.Edit: Also Hybrid has been put back on Prophecy's KOS list. -------7/02-------- My update after my rounds on the the FRC/Hybrid/Oromea (ICE Alliance) vs TT/PRX/OUTs fighting... TT Alliance has a house up by the the Mage Tower keep spot near cave camp. ICE dropped a house near theirs in that spot which TT was not happy with as after the keeps and walls are up that would be a large security risk having another alliance having a house withing their keep and being able to access it. There was some negotiating on T-P-O guys buying out ICE on the house, but a price agreement could not be reached. So a fight started and T-P-O cleared the area of ICE members and have been removing the house.Perhaps the most interesting apect of this fight and likely war between ICE and T-P-O is the AMA/MDA agreements held by ICE. As I said in my previous update AI and its friends have wardeced 13/Proph/Prom. However, both AI and Prom have MDA/AMAs with ICE. I have spoken to Prom and they fully intend to honor this MDA. Also AI have their AMA with ICE and I believe they intend to honor this. So this could get real interesting and has been the site of a LOT of bloodshed so far tonight. -------7/02-------- WAR Well war has finally really broken out across Nave. There are two new wars starting up tonight. One with AI/AQ/Amon vs 13/Proph/Prom. The other being FRC/Hybrid/Oromea vs TT/PRX/OUTs Tonight 13 and Prophecy placed a Keep on Combat Beta Island with the assistance of Promethean Alliance. There was a limited amount of resistance from Amon/AQ but not enough numbers or time for them to prevent the keep going down. This new keep is going to jointly belong to 13 and Prophecy. According to Prom, Prom's roll in the build of the keep was repayment for their assistance against LB attacks when Prom placed their keep. As well as 13 giving their agreed keep spot to Prom alliance. Proir to release all guilds pretty much agreed on where who's keeps would be going. And taking anothers spot would be considered an act of war. However during the drama around the crusade Prom dropped all agreements with AI and no longer reconised any such agreements. However, AI had been building up the palisades and they and Amon have made it clear that any attempt to build on the island by anyone would be an act of war. So following 13 and Prophecy putting down the keep in their spot with the assistance of Prom they have wardeced all of them. There was a limited ammount of fighting where (~8) Amon with a few AI/AQ attacked those building the keep under the cover on nightfall. Given how outnumbered they were (Prom/Proph/13 had ~40) it was a smart tactic to use the nightfall as they were much more familiar with the area. However there was only limited deaths on both sides. Amon was able to get in and destroy a small amount of stuff out of the building chest before being forced out. Once daylight came they could no longer use the nighttime cover and really had no choice but to withdraw.

Thanks Alyzar.
Do they have any names they prefer to go by? If not I can come up with some appropriate ones but I doubt they will like them. Also common locations they hang? And who was the other one in the Variance/Mitsubishi alliance? And who is AI blue to, and their know pet guilds?

about the citizens: A citizen is just a generic term for the non-leadership of AI (not Shinzon and not an Adjunct/Specialty lead/MrWinter). Same group we all follow Shinzon, we all work together. I don't know if citizen at one point meant something different, but now it is synonymous with "guild member". In short, to answer your question, we are not two groups. Just AI. Citizen is just a rank.

Ah, OK. Once upon a time it was something totally different. Basicly they were just random people that lived among AI and went about their in game lives as they pleased with perhaps a few taxes here or there. But that was what was being discussed when trying to figure out what they would be, and I went AFK for quite a while after that so wasn't sure.

They were people who weren't directly in the guild, but were under our protection as individuals and would pay taxes and what not in exchange for protection, but had no obligation other than resources to the guild. let me make this ultra clear though: THIS GROUP DOES NOT(I say again: NOT!) EXIST ANYMORE. Shinzon got rid of it and here is the current structure of the guild. Resident - Someone who is allowed to build a house within our territory (Whatever it may be), currently closed because of the systems in play and the questionable use of houses. We still maintain the old Resident list in private.
Citizen - Guild Member Adjutant - Guild Officer Protectorate - Guilds that have thrown in political support with AI, ties range from businesses like to a more close relationships. There is no direct relationship between an AI member and a protectorate; it's more of a side structure than a linear hierarchy. More detailed descriptions are on our website. **** Throughout the two years we have existed, our structure has been mixing around quite a bit, we tried things, some things didn't work, others did, so it was constantly improving. Even though it might seem rather "Traditional" right now, there are still a lot of flavors to it. The names themselves to some extent are a legacy of our old structures. As for disclosure of Protectorates and Alliances, you will have to get your spies in gear for those. However, I will admit that we share good relations with several guilds; while strictly speaking they are not alliances, we will still come to their help if need be.

AI does have a keep, and palisades complete. I did not notice houses when I surveyed it. It is on an island/archipelgo in the new area, southeast of Thirteen's keep. There is basically one primary and two secondary means of approach to their keep.
Primary access is accomplished by going past Thirteens keep to the beach and turning right. Secondary access is by taking a pass just beyond and to the right of the "tunnel priest". From the pass, you can see the green and sand area of a semi-large clearing, this is the keep area, you just can't see the keep until you are closer because of draw issues. Third access, which is a bit trickier, is to take the beach in the new area and following the coasat until it dead ends at a cliff. You can swim around this cliff to a beach and take a trail to the keep. There are a few (3ish) waterlizards on the beach on the keep side of the cliff. There, secret's out, enjoy the visitors.

That area is the old "Combat Beta Island", the majority of our members goes that far back, so we know how to navigate that place with our eyes closed. It certainly brings memories back being there, and it certainly feels fitting that we do something there. The location of the keep is where the "Tindrem Arena" was in, and that is where we did the initial crafting.
Any guilds that we have contacted or are protectorates are invited to set up their houses within the palisade walls, our end goal is to build a city and an Empire, so this is the first step. We look forward in sharing our land with those that share our mindset.
