its not completely skill based otherwise it would be possible for 1 dude to take on 3 people....youtube says no!
It looks ok but yeah, A bit WoW-ey. And a bit too much like how WoW works in battlegrounds. Take out the healer first. Otherwise game over. zzzzz. Not really tactics if thats the only thing you should be doing. I still wanna play it though, unless this is 3v3 max online

Hey, Team coloring is a simple feature but its a feature none the less. Some other games do not have this. Which is retarded! considering how much game designers do nowadays to try and boost up the game.

I got into beta and i dont really like it that much. It just gets boring after a while imo.

Seeing that no one has talked about this game yet I might as well start the discussion.
BLC is an arena team based pvp game completely reliant on one's player skill determining the outcome of a fight. There's is zero randomness: an abilitity does exactly the damage that it says on a tooltip and nothing is left to chance. Here's the description from the website: "Bloodline Champions is a PVP game with short, intense matches for up to ten players divided into two teams. Every player plays one of several different bloodlines with 7 unique abilities each. Different bloodlines in a set up complement eachother, different maps and gamemodes need different tactics, so good teamwork is a must for success. Chance is not a factor, spells and abilities do a set amount of damage. Random elements such as critical hits and passive abilities do not exist. Spells travel to where the player aims and can be avoided by enemy players, making every ability dependant on individual player skill. I'm in the beta and tried to manually patch it myself like the forums say but I cant seem to make it work so I'll just wait until they fix the launcher/patcher.

I didn't really like this, even tho I'm playing HoN. The maps feel too small (not that HoN maps are really huge either) and matches are way too short, I also prefer getting items and actually leveling up.

This game is fucking brilliant and I pity you all for not giving it more interest already.
There are no items. No stats. No critical hits. No dodges. No artificial levels. Only aim, teamplay, and skill. Of course some douche like Taisenki will claim it's not skill-based due to some weird, obnoxious fact, as the developers selling themselves out to Funcom or making some crude example of an in-house conversation amongst the developers, plotting the ruin of the soul of the game industry and whatnot. The game is neatly balanced. A pro player using a healer champion can wear down a DPS with life-leech if he plays properly. I'm not saying I can, but there is an e-sport scene already establishing itself, which is more than what you can say for most allegedly "competitive" games being released nowadays. There is ladders already, and charter-signed teams duking it out on high level of playfield that I guess isn't easy to grasp if you haven't played the game yourself. Seriously, there's a reason the game is simple in terms of features. No artificial barriers are employed to bar your way to becoming good at the game. It's only you, and your level of skill.

I have two spare friend keys. This game needs more players, so I'm going to run a little contest. Post a 100 word minimum essay on why its important to defeat noobs utterly and preferably make them weep. Your writing may be posted here or elsewhere if it is satisfactory.
The first two essays that I enjoy will be the winners, and the writers will receive the beta friend requests after I confirm amusement and receive an email address to send the Beta Key to in a PM. I look forward to your entries. |
