PREREGISTER IN THIS THREAD, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO OFFER SIDEBETS ON THE FACT THAT YOU WILL WIN, THE HOUSE IS WILLING TO TAKE THAT OFFER. PM with your information

This will be the First of a Series of Manhunts run every Saturday.

Your local gambling guild IMAGE will be running another player event on Saturday at 6 eastern or 3 pacific PM. You should show up for the event 1/2 hour ahead.

The event will go as such,
The event will start in Vadda. The Entrance fee will be 5 gold. There must be a minimum of 10 players.

Once you have paid your entrance fee you will be given access to a private Ventrilo server will you will be feed instructions on the whereabouts of the player in question.

The player in question will have 1 unique Item on him, a sword With a specific durability and make that I know, that must be returned to ME Lan in Vadda at the banker.

There are no rules. You can pk, use horses, bring your whole guild.

However your whole guild must enter if you join this. We will have spotters out tracking you as you hunt down our member. Anyone having guild assistance will be eliminated.

Guilds must register with me before hand and be in the same channel in vent.

I will globally announce all messages to all channels at the same time so no guild will have an advantage.

The house will take a small 20% of the fees entered to run the event.

If you have any questions about this, send us a pm.

If there are ten people entered yes Anton, so 80 gold.

If 20 people enter- or WINNER takes 150 gold

If 30 people enter- WINNER takes 200 gold

If 20 people enter- or 100 gold first place gets 40, second place will get 30

If 30 people enter- or 300 gold, First gets 100 second gets, 75, third gets 50

When you're in the vent channel you will get more information on this. But suffice to say you won't take a murder count for it

I don't see how Myrm and or another guild could crash this?

The whole point is to crash this.

The money will be collected in Vadda under guard protection.

It will be distributed under guard protection.

If Myrmidon or any other guild interfers without paying I will simply refund each player their money.

That being said, it's fair game for Myrm to get 10 guys together to win this pot.

if worst come to worst it will be refunded, 5g for a chance at 100g is a steal. Plus with this kind of game it needs player run content and this is the way to do it.

In the case of a Server down - there will be a pause in the action - Since everyone will be in their own private vent channel - it will be coordinated to resume on server up.

We got rid of second and third place. Instead we are taking side bets. If you feel you are going to win, Or another person or guild will, you can bet with the house against our profits.

Hmm seems like you need to think before you act next time. First off.
You only let blue flagged people join? Or how do you plan on red flagged people return a weapon inside vadda? Seems like you need a better place to set a finish line.
Second off.
5g a person... How the hell can the winner get 80/150/200 gold if it's 10/20/30 people? It should be 40/80/120.
Please recount and rethink this event a little.

why 40, 80 120? if its 5 g per person then 10 people x 5 = 50, 20 x 5= 100 30 x 5 = 150...

50,100,150 THEN you take off 20% of each so it becomes, 40, 80, 120.
(eg, 50 x 0.20 = 10, so then 50-10 = 40 and so on)

and I am shit at maths, but OP was right all along

I do not see how a second place or a third place fits. This is a all or nothing contest. What goals does the second or third place have if the 1st place wins. *confused* I just confused myself but I think you all understand. LOL!

Perhaps a second and third man carrying a 2nd place and 3rd place weapon?
