Pity, cause I lost hundreds of hours playing syndicate 2 on amiga. "Geeez, did you see that ? I can kill those basterds. THEY ARE BLEEDING !" those were the times, and I grown up as for a pretty normal dude Quote:
But I foresee a highly instanced gameplay. Something similar to DDo/GW1 in world of DK.

DK1 was indeed alot better than dk2. But i enjoyed dk2 aswell but never completed dk2.
However for fans of dk1 there is still hope..... http://www.moddb.com/games/natural-b...model-progress I also loved Syndicate/syndicate wars - which i hear is getting another game. System shock- would love to see bioshock creators re-launch this series. Space Hulk votba- really tough fps that you had to think whilst palying.

Yeah spent heaps of time on Syndicate Wars, was the only game I've ever played like it TBH and Space Hulk was hard, used to keep me on my toes with fear and planning. |

I played 2 but never really 1. Wonder if it'd be worth it.
Need to get back into dwarf fortress.

I managed to get DK2 working in Win7. I had to disable the movies, but otherwise I got it running pretty smooth.
I'm actually on the very last map. I was a huge fan of DK1 but I now think DK2 is a worthy successor. A DK MMO? Ehhhhh... I don't think so. Of course, the Korean's or Chinese have the rights to it now, so expect some weird shit. |

I am like its biggest fan, i grew up on dungeon keeper, i had all of them, dungeon keeper, dungeon keeper deeper dungeons, dungeon keeper gold, and dungeon keeper 2, in the box.
number 1 was better, because you could tame horny, and he go bonkers sometimes. but yeah dungeon keeper was the best game ever for me, it was so much fun and had so mach statagy to it, but not rock paper scissers style, but how your going to lay out your dungeon, control your limited funds and keeping your monsters happy. it was good to be bad. right now i am hating EA alot, i used to like them, but they are ruining to many games for me, its like they are the haters of pc gaming, and making all great games into crappy rock paper scissers. R.I.P dungeon keeper & command and conquer |

It would be pretty insane if the fan-base for the DK series just emu-'d the original game into a mod...
Maybe using Evil Genius as a base? I can't seem to find many mods for Evil Genius...
