Forum Rules

Please ensure you read, understand and accept the rules of this community which apply to all forum services including forum posts, private messaging, your profile, your signature, your avatar and the reputation system.

You should read these rules in conjunction with the Moderator Customer Charter.

These rules may be updated from time to time and it is your responsibility to ensure you are familiar with the rules.

General Forum Rules

• English is the only language permitted on the forums.
• You are under no circumstances allowed to abuse or harass other users and religious, racial or sexually based attacks will result in an instant ban.
• Trolling, flaming or in any other way attempting to disrupt an ongoing creative discussion will be warned and/or issued an infraction. This includes posting pictures and/or linking to sites that have no relevance to the topic.
• You are not allowed to post and/or link to sites that contain adult content such as sexually related content or inappropriate material that can be considered offensive to other users. Linking to sites with warez and other illegal content may result in an instant ban.
• Do not post links to unofficial mirrors of the game client - all links to mirrors posted on the forum must be verified and approved by Star Vault first.
• Do not advertise other games or web pages unrelated to MO.
• Do not advertise the selling of accounts or other MO related material without written consent.
• You are under no circumstances allowed to impersonate any staff member.
• Multiple forums accounts are not permitted.
• Spamming the forums is prohibited.

Adult Content
Mortal Online contains adult content including animated violence and nudity.

We must keep the forums safe for work however and have made a distinction between game related nudity and violence and real world depictions.

Subsequently, you are permitted to post in-game pictures and clearly related fan art. We do ask that any nude or potentially not safe for work pictures are contained with the spoiler tag:

Signatures
In order to keep the focus on the content of the forums rather than our individual signatures, we a have a few simple rules to follow and the forum is configured to help you with the signature rules:

• You may use an image for your forum signature that is no greater than 500 px wide and 100 px high.
• You may have up to six lines of text and a 500x100 image will count as one line.
• You may only use one set of QUOTE tags.

Moderators have the authority to enforce these rules.
