Weapon gone?!

Hey Folks,

I just logged in to find that my weapon's blade seems so have disappeared, I'm sorta only wielding the shaft of it. In character profile it shows up as the dreaded questionmark, relogging didn't work, trying to reequip it neither (now it's just a questionmark in my inv). Is there anything else I can do now?

It was my only weapon and it wasn't cheap for me either, plus I'm not exactly in the most civilised area, so any hints would be gladly appreciated.

I logged in and discovered myself naked at the bank, All my armour & weapons gone, my hitpoints low, yet when I logged off in Bakti last night everything was fine, I mentioned it at the bank and discovered another guy there that had the same issue, not fucking happy.

We are building a fix for these items that a GM can apply.
It shouldn't be to long before we can get this under control so don't destroy the items.

Wait and pray?
Write a petition?
Or just make one more scratch on the "times I was pissed off" table ...

Same thing happened to me - spear, shield and armor all gone, "woke up" naked with a torch in Bak-Ti. The curious circumstance for me is that I did die yesterday, but my loot and stuff was picked up by a friend. I resurrected to trade the items, and found I had lots of question marks in my newly resurrected inventory!
At the time I didn't think much of it - my loot was safe with my friend, surely. So I deleted the question marks and got the loot back. All well, until relog. The stuff is gone, and the "real" objects were probably the question marks that magically appeared in my inventory sometime after my character died.

I guess all the stuff is lost now... and its not mostly sad because of the money, but because of the time put in collecting all the gear from different crafters... sigh.

This issue seems to be related to dying, because I also died but managed to pick the stuff up in time by myself, everything was fine till I relogged, and only the equipped items were affected.

Happened again. Exactly same thing. Died, and immediately I had an inventory full of question marks, somewhat resembling the number of armor/weapon items I had equipped.

Keeping them for now awaiting that tool. But this seems to occur alarmingly often, and also results in the "victim" being unlootable - by friend or foe.
