After just recently getting a new shoutcast server to broadcast through, we have come a long way since Mortal Online Radio first launched!

We are now looking to expand our schedule, with more weekly shows. And are looking for people who would like to host their own show!

So what kind of shows do we want? Well what kind of show do you want to host?

There is in short 2 different type of shows. 1 focusing on music, you play what you like, "Hard Rock Hour" or something like that. And 2, Talk Show, more talk less music (if any), where you talk about subject mostly related towards Mortal Online. Be it focusing on trade, diplomatics, latest patch notes, in game events, or anything else you can come up with!

What you need?

Well THE best software out there is something called SAM Broadcaster! There are probably other softwares who does the trick, but this one is the best. Its not free to get, but the one I would recommend.

What else you need?

Time! Dedication! Creativity! and so on... Time because planning a show, editing it for download (if its a talkshow), preparation and so on, takes time. A show is usually only as good as the time you put in before you go live!

Dedication pretty much means how much effort you put into planning it, making it, preparing it and so on. Making a show the same time and day every week, demands it!

And as you probably have figured talking on the radio is a one way communication. We got IRC which most of the times got people chatting during live shows, but thats not always the case.

That I can maybe someday host a show for MO radio?

The reason I ask is I am not very old so can under 18's host a show?
Also I will never be able to afford that SAM broadcaster thing.

These are all questions you could ask me if you were to contact me using skype.

We haven't set any age requirement, but assumes that most playing MO is 18+. I would say it all depends on several things, but first off would be you contacting me using skype, so you can tell me what type of show you would like to do, and I could evaluate you after I get to know you better.
