I really don't see the point in age restrictions in guilds. people should be judged on character not age.

And does it really matter what age everyone is?
All those people under 15 or so are too busy playing other games to hanf out on a forums that is coming out in a couple months. Only older people have the time and patience to hang out on the forums of such a game.

Pretty much the same age group as Forumfall, maybe a bit younger overall. Average age around here is probably 22 or so. Not exactly a surprise.

Ya, but the maturity level here is Way Higher ... I hope MOFO doesn't end up like Forumfall when alot of people from Forumfall come here

Depends on whether you mean Forumfall, or the 08/09ers. I'd definitely say Forumfall itself is a much more mature community... but it's so covered with trash anymore that it's been pretty much dead since August.

Anyways, kinda pointless to hope people from Forumfall won't come here... Something like half the older members here were from Forumfall in the first place.

Also, it will. Even if the ratio of idiots to actual people joining a gaming forum didn't change to favor the idiots the closer to release the game was, just sheer numbers will eventually tell. Anyone who's ever joined a gaming forum years before launch and stuck around till launch can tell you about the gradual deterioration.

Pretty much applies for any forums that dont apply sadist-facist moderation (which i support) or have a necessity for every member to be separately accepted.

For the most part I think the MO forums is a little younger than most, but this should change close to release when guilds start showing up.

Don't worry about neg rep Vinnie. There are a few around here that just love giving out neg rep, and don't have the balls to put their name to it. Happens to us all.

Hell I wasn't even on these forums really yesterday and I got THREE neg reps from people who didn't put their name on it. Heh, on my day off from these forums I got THREE. lol.

Thank you guys...

I think we're sharing a cool moment. I really expect MO to be revolutionary, because it envolves everything needed to. Competent devs, powerful tools, an inteligent and authentic content, an awesome community etc.

We'll certainly remember these first months of MOFO and Alpha/Beta phase of MO development. I wish people could enjoy and appreciate this so much as I am.

But nevermind. I'll keep this for the right moment. We'll solve our differences in game.
