Hot Fix 1.22.39.57
2010-08-24


Notice: We can't stress this enough. When the launcher is running the patch installer, let it run its course. It will take some time to apply the patch and it might seem like the installer is doing nothing, but it is working. If you reboot or kill the patcher process you run the risk of corrupting you installation, forcing you to do a full reinstall.


------ BUG FIXES ------


General:
- Fixed the palisade gate bug.

Had to remove vendor crash fix, new issues appeared with it. Working on it.

Can we get a hotfix for the Bloodore and amarantum not showing up bug? Full reinstalls dont fix it...

Are you guys currently working on the character loading issue. We (my guild) had an entire fight yesterday where the guys we were fighting did not load in for us. It took about 2 minutes or so to get the various players (theirs and ours) to load in so we could engage them and support our guys. Is this a known issue?

What about the delay in mobs appearing? Riding into a group of wisents, to have them appear 10 seconds later? Whats up with that? That's my only current problem... And it's a big one for me.

Just need to wait for server up and call gm for a donkey, apparently all our missing goods from the last 2 months is in a donkey bag. I hope the donkey can carry all the sulfur I have missed out on since I have lost the ability to produce/receive it :P

Ye , It is so absurdal . I didn't hear about mongolian archers or european knights that stopped in battle to equip weapon . Maybe characters in MO have weapons in pockets and must stay to find it .

And crashed during equipping arrows.
Equipping arrows with right-click does not work.

<ironic>Uff... but if you cannot buy an arrow there is no need to equip one.</ironic>

I never thought a patch focused on bugfixing would come to this.

My suggestion:
SV stop and learn from this. You need to change your development and change management practises. Above all you need to change the way you test things.

If this is the best you can do with one patch per week, then I don't want one patch per week. Give me one patch per month if that is what it takes to be a solid patch.

The loot delay was lowered significantly... now looting is more fun ;-) So... thx.

But that's one more example for change management problems. There are happening a lot of things which are not transparent for the user.

Yeah played for about five minutes crashed, five again crashed, now it just loads the game and fatal error crash. I left DF cause of cheaters, APB cuase of unblanced matches. but both of them ran atleast.

Also since those crashes my characters have gone missing again, i dont think your fix fixed it.

Is there any trick to talk to a merchant without it crashing? I just got done in bakti trying every merchant. crash crash crash

I had the crashing as my earlier post reported, but since then I have the missing statue gate bug again, hence I haven't been able to get in all day. Whatever you did perhaps you should go to the previous version, atleast I was able see the game. Didn't get to check this game out at all on my day off.

Did you stop mortalonline.exe in your processes after you quit the game? That was supposed to be the workaround for this before.

we need a workaround to get in a freaking game after a crash we pay for to play monthly...
somehow that does not feel well with me... and still no official comment...
...my subscription runs out today and I dont think I will resub...
