Mortal Online - This is the world that we live in

The original purpose for making this video was to convince a close friend or two that this game is worth getting (even with all the bugs, crashes, lag, and other various problems this game has). My friends have decided to purchase so this video has been a success!

The whole idea of this video was to try and give a taste of as much of the game as possible. To give them a look into the world of Nave. Hence why the brief bit of combat has been insanely speeded up. It was just to give a taste, instead of just having a video full of fighting only. There's more to be seen and lived, like player created structures from absolutely nothing, towns with people interacting with each other (Fabs been quiet though, vadda is the opposite).

I apologise now that the editing of the video isn't brilliant - probably one reason why my friends were won over by it as they knew it wasn't all faked and over done with special effects.

Perhaps you will enjoy it, and maybe it'll convince someone else that this game is worth buying - or not. Either way, my mates are playing now, but I still hope you enjoy.

But on another note, if you're wondering what some of the stuff in the video is, it's mainly a mix of footage from when I was in CIR, though there's quite a lot of pieces from AQ like the TnA fight, King of GK etc. The mass moving army bits were the Prom alliance moving to help build the forsaken keep (bit of that is in the video). Then from there we marched upto GK for the first Bevo event. Unfortantely I didn't get any of the fighting as my frames went to 10 fps a second as I didn't manage to get a relog.

There's a bit of video from the CIR and WSX duels whilst we were waiting on the 13 + WSX event to take place. Most of the footage that's on desert came from that. There's bits of the myrmopolis, and the rest is huge amounts of random clips I got over the past month or so.

I can see your point, but I'm quite aware that I was bow spamming, but it's part of the game. I'm not trying to hide away all the problems with the game to make it look perfect because it isn't. And if I convinced my friends it was, then I'd of just been plain face lying - even with all the explaining I did to them talking about all the bugs, crashes, duping etc they still wanted to try the game. (I think a possible factor in that was because I've actually played this game for over 2 months now - I usually play mmos for a month then go "this is crap" then quit).

Though having said about all the negativity, it doesn't stop me love playing MO 99% of the time.

I cropped the video using Sony Vegas.
If you took a screenshot, you'd have to crop it manually to get rid of the UI. There is currently no keys ingame to do it unfortunately. That's why my vid has large erm.. black bits on the top and bottom - I forget the name. Me sooo tired at the moment

Heh thank you very much. And as far as the interpolation system goes, it's something that should really help. I really hope you guys can get a grip on the, you do it on your screen, it happens on your enemys 1 - 2 seconds later. Really does hinder combat.
