Good news on the magic front (I hope). Unfortunately the textures optimization and trees seemed to have been pushed to the EPIC patch which doesn't have a clear ETA yet.

Oh well, guess I'll have more time to go fishing now that I won't be staring at trees

Yes the reason why the roadmap got things pushed forward is due to the fact that we want to get the epic-games patch merged into our code ASAP.

Probly gonna make it so you fizzle if you attempt to release without LOS.

edit: this would be one step in the right direction, if they won't make it aim based, this is the next best thing. I think they should still make it so spells are faster, but don't follow targets, that way magic can be dodged.

Who cares really? Give them a few weeks to digest this new code and give us a good patch (hopefully). They have said that they need this code to fix a bunch of their issues. I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them a bit of time to merge the code and develop their patch.

I would prefer to wait a couple of weeks and not rush them if it means better quality. If there is no marked improvement after the patch, that is a different subject and will most likely have an impact on a lot of subs.

I just think we need to be a little patient right now...

so with aim based magic now... are regs going to be much dmg drastically increased? seems a lot like an Archer that uses regs, hits for less, and more down time. almost seems like to differentiate them from archers they need utility and defence spells and make them melee using mana as armour or adding sow type spells with an Archer ability to pin them to ground with a special shot etc.
