Welcome everyone,
I am soon to be a refugee from Age of Conan. It had potential to be half the game it should have been, and became half the game that it began as. I look forward to beginning and partaking in disucssions here in the MO forums. Heated or cool, I hope they are usefull in their purpose. -Valor

Hello everyone!
I've just come over, heard about Mortal off a community member of the Fallen Earth forums. Thought it looked interesting and the sort of game I would like so I came over. I have not really played many games... main game I do try and play if my laptop permits me is Guild Wars. And I am following Fallen Earth. My real name is Eve btw. |

Hi everyone, I'm Jake.
I'm from the East Coast of the United States (Pennsylvania). I have a decent amount of experience in RPG's (and MMO's), and I'm happily looking forward to the further development of M.O. |

I'm StingFeelsOnlyOnce, your friendly neightbourhood dragon, that ocassionally might want to eat your ladies... And I mean, just to have a meal... Not in the way they'd enjoy it anyway... Erm... Yeh...
My earthly living place would be Finland, and that's the language I can do best in this world. English comes as close secondary language for me. I really live in Middle-Earth, but let's not tell that to anyone. I played a lot of MMORPG's, until I realized they are all the same, so now I'm waitring to see what'll MO bring... I really hope it'll be as great as I expect. Other than that, I love to have meal... I mean, a discussion with people that are intelligent and taste good... I mean, have good taste. You can always call me Sting, or Sti'fëon.

Name is SilverArrow, been playing MMO's for over 10 years now starting with Ultima Online. I am also a recent refugee from Age of Conan and very excited about Mortal Online. Specifically excited about the PvP and looting in the game.
I am a member of Shadow Syndicate (-S-) and have been for about 8 years now. http://www.shadowsyndicate.net I am looking for this game to bring back my enthusiasm for gaming and hope that whatever PvP rules they put into this game they stand their grounds on. Too many times have games backed down on their PvP rules! Pleasure to meet all of you! |

Hey everyone!
I just recently found out about Mortal Online while over at the Darkfall forums. Sandbox MMO's are my favorite genre of game in the world and I'm happy that two new ones are on the radar ... finally! UO was a long time ago and while I try enjoying the current MMORPG genre, nothing matches my experience in UO because of the structure current MMO's are using with levels, classes, and appeal to the masses. I started MMORPG gaming in 1994/95 playing text-based MUDs on AOL. Gemstone and Dragonrealms being the first. I then moved to Chat room Roleplay. In 1997 I started on Ultima Online. It became my favorite game of all time and I played it until the AoS expansion, although at that point my play time was lower than previous years. Since I have ventured the gaming land tackling MMORPG from MMORPG. After Everquest, the genre took a turn for the worse and since its popularity, we have had mostly level based/class affairs or Korean grinders. I'm very excited to see the sandbox MMO get some more play. The potential of these games are what MMORPGs are supposed to be about; virtual social worlds, where PvP, PvE, socailzing, crafting, RPing, and every type of play style can thrive on the same level. Just based on the forums and Official Website, I can tell the devs have an eye on a quality product. So thanks! And see you all on the forums. |

Hi everyone!
Im Niklas, from Sweden. I actually never played an MMO, becouse i sensed what kind of an addiction it would turn into for me. Ive done alot of gaming, but lately my artistry is taking up most of my time. I think MO seems really interesting and i like the fact that it doesnt try to appeal to the masses as much as others. I think the world of MO holds alot of potential and creative freedom for both players and the developers and thats pretty much wy i am here. Im going to try and convince the MO dev-team to hire me. As i have been trying to get the stressed out devs to give my portfolio a look for the past months ive finally decided to take things into my own hands a bit and show them that i really want this. Since ive been working on a sci-fi game lately, i thought that my porfolio might not fit their interest right away. So ive decided to do a special painting just for the MO devs! Take that!! gaah! hehe :P. Ive just started working on it, so maybe ill post it in some days, a week or something, whenever its finished. Im listening to the original diablo soundtrack for inspiration and also watching the MO teaser of course. It looks like its going to be a dark and morbid image of a warrior/slayer (possibly with an arabic touch) in some kind of unfriendly environment Thats it, later.. -Niklas

Hi, I'm Arthur (As the king)
My firsts steps on mmorpgs were with L2. It was a different experience, but incomparable with UO's experience. Why i prefer MMORPGs like UO? For many years i played rolplay games, as D&D. I believe MO will give us this kind of experience, an incredible world with no limits. I knew this game on a darkfall's forum. When i saw the skill system, i got google and well... Now im here

D&D has always been an interest of mine from a setting perspective. I never have officially played but I know a good amount about their rule set as I am a huge fan of games like Baldur's Gate (it being my 2nd favorite game under UO). I'm just waiting for the day when they use the Forgotten Realms setting to make an MMORPG. They already have the best race/class system in RPG existence, all they need to do is make Faerun virtual. I'd be hooked. |

I came across your game while browsing for a new mmorpg to play. I've beta tested a few other games and I am hoping to improve my chances of being able to get into the beta of this beautiful looking game. I am rather techy and enjoy providing as much info as possible to help stomp out bugs. Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your game.

Hi Gals and Guys,
Name's Alex, from Calgary, Canada. Playing MMORPG and FPS games for the past 7-8 years. I'm really looking forward to Mortal Online as it introduces the whole new level of gaming experience such as no leveling or grinding, amazing graphics and the freedom of play style. Hope to eventually meet as many of you folks on forums and in game as I can, and perhaps our paths will cross in the new and unknown world of Mortal Online. Cheers! -Alex

Hi!
I was on a forum about another game and an user introduced me to MO. I'm very happy to see that real RPGs are under development, I'm tired of those popular games out there that "the game start when you reach max lvl". I hope this game can make players fear death like I do playing Tibia (yes, Tibia!). There is nothing more immersive than have to think about consequences before you start a fight.

Hello All,
Very happy to have stumbled upon Mortal Online when I did. Looks to be an outstanding concept and, if held true to the developers vision, everything I've been looking for in an MMORPG. Keep up the good work! |
