I don't have a problem with undead, but i'd rather see it as an optional condition you aquire rather than a race. Any race could be undead.

That would make for a lot of graphic developing i would think unless there was an easy way to code it. Seeing just one race played as undead though is rather borish though.

I voted human only, because I feel that if there are enough differences is character creation, in world lore and a vast world that having multiple races isn't needed and actually only serves to be to divisive.

If your kingdom from the south is at war with the kingdom from the north, it doesn't mean that people from the North/South can't interact or go to each others cities if they're human. Usually though if you a 500lb Oger your going to be slain on sight. Makes everything a little more realistic when all the players are human (not because of magical creatures, but in the interaction between "races"). RVR combate isn't about Good and Evil but about protecting your interests.

Plus the high fantasy thing has just been done to death. Would like to see something more original then tokken/D&D like factions/races.

All that being said, however, Human only is just the way I would like it to be. Obviously that's not the direction the Devs are going. Hardly a deal breaker for me...basiclly just sharing.

I myself would love to see some centaurs in-game, that would be new for an MMO which in-turn might bring more people to play it for the new races, im also excited to learn some of the lore of the game, the game itself just from the trailer seems amazing.

i really don't get why people would want humans only. Let there be a little more variety outside of the human/orc/elf classic MMO races, it just gets really old playing MMOs with those races.

Well I got several things to say about this poll :
- some races are just the same (Taurens and Minotaures);
- one race is repeated (Ethernals);
- the choice of the possible races is too slanted;
- some of the basical races of every med/fan universe are missing.

Anyway, here are the races I'd like to meet (and why not play them) :
- Centaurs


- Dwarves


- Ogres


- Satyrs


- Undeads

I think a entirely new race would be cool. Something new to the fantasy genre.

Other than that, a half-demon might be cool but I can see an unproportional amount of people choosing to be a race with the word "demon" in it.


One thing I would love to see is a high flux between heights and sizes among the races. Much like EQ.

I'm divided between wanting a lot of races, and wanting only humans. Depending on how they want to take this in direction. If they are making it extremely fantasy, then I would love tons of races. But if they are making it more towards something like Conan lore, then Humans would be enough. Especially if it's really going to be as Sandbox as they want it to be.

I think that the races should all have a human base, for example a mix between a tiger and a human, or wolf and a human, or a lizard and a human but at the same time always keeping a human touch to them.
