Well, FEAR got it, but last I heard - no one was owning up to looting it, because they wanted to delete it.

im pretty sure we can expect sword of tears to rot in someones bank and disappear from our memory, they dont have the balls like cyde to actually use it in combat.

the sword is abit useless actually its to slow and to heavy to be usefull. This is another proof why great double axes etc isnt used in pvp.

Edit: Would rather like to see it being really light and low damage.

Balls for sure. It takes a special kind of psycho-baggage to play a PvP centric MMO and not play the PvP aspect. It's a form of denial of the self. Gratz to Cyde for being a normal player and playing a game as a game.

I think it would be cool to have the Sword of Tears be it's own "character". To have a stat sheet of it's number of kills and who owns it.

Yeah and lets change it so that its as fast as a cronite sword, hits for 500 dmg on spam hits and as a alt swing shoots a thunderlash for 150 dmg that dont have a precast.

Id rather have all weapons be craftable be it normal, rare or unique recipes, but no epic legendary uber leet swords of doom.

It isn't OP, hence why CYDE started doing twice as well when he lost it, because he no longer had an ultra slow weapon that was completely against his playstyle.

You do just sound jealous you don't have it, especially as you don't seem to have a clue what it's like in terms of balance.

The weapon was shit, there is no serious pvper that would keep up with the playstyle you need for ultra-heavy weps. Speed in this game is everything (survivability). Give me a cronite sword over the sword of tears.

The weapon is novelty, it's kinda cool, but not practical, and most people would love to use it regardless. Not OP.

This Sword have a place in this world and a reason.
It was far from OP in PVP, since it was very slow and heavy, and the bonus was just a bit more damage. It was unique and it will be needed in the world of Nave, one way or another, thats up to the players.

We are adding some features for these items/weapons a bit further along the road.
Delete items on the run will not be possible anymore. Thats some fantastic magic right there, to let a sword go poof right on the field, even your not a mage

These features will be important for the future content that will come after AI.

My bet is that it's got something to do with Syenah (testicle turkey). Only way to kill it is using the sword of tears, but then again, killing it probably have some downsides to some people which creates a nice conflict between people who want to save it and those who seek to kill it.
