Want to see charcters out of first person!

Okay so I would like to see my avatars out of first person, I would like to see my male character for reasons I don't want to tell you that I think are personal. But I would enjoy seeing my character in 3d and i'm sure many others would like to too.

well you can, sort of, in your paper doll.
wile it's no priority i personaly think there should be more mirrors in this game, every town should have a hut/house with one or more wall size mirrors in it. it should also be something you can put in your house/keep/tower.

Mirrors are resource heavy sadly

But yeah, a better rag-doll could be good in the char sheet.

Why is the toon so small? It should be the height of the screen - move all that attr. stuff to the side. Get rid of the equipment slots, we can already see it on our toon, just drop the equipment on it and add hilite select to take it off. Who cares if it covers the screen, what reason does have anyone to still be playing the game while they are checking themselves out?

YES! I don't want to run around in 3rd person. BUT, I do want to see my character in 1st, even if it's just a spin around camara angle, anything!

It would be nice to be able to "maximise" the paper doll, and spin it around etc.

of course not. Why even mention what I put in bold from the OP without it being dirty. Otherwise, the idea is sound and I wonder why there isn't some better way to see what you have on as well. I can't even see the paper doll image because it's still way too dark for me.

Makes sense for a game like wow where your epics are safe forever and you can stare at your shineys, not much point on here since the gear you have on doesnt last.

Actually MO lacks these kind of systems more than any pvp related stuff that some scream for.

Not really, since the fact you can loose shit in MO is balanced by how easy it is to get the same gear back.

Ahaha it's been a while since I've seen one of these threads, reminds me of beta days lol.

NO! First person only here k thanks.

BUT they could improve paperdoll and the character selection screen so we can rotate our characters, zoom, etc. and add mirrors also.

Oh, if you do not understand why we only want first person view in game, it's for a weird thingy called gameplay and immersion... It also completely changes pvp tactics with 3rd person view.

Id say fix the char screen before u log in, so it shows everything accurate, right now ur chest piece looks like rag chest, which is irritating.

And fix the char info screen in the UI so it shows high rez textures and looks better in general, fix the lighting in it too. and make it so u can turn ur char there too.

Maybe if people can more easily see their paper doll there will be less PeePees (tm) waving in the breeze? Or would that mean more....?

And while you are at it can you fix this for Skyrim too which does not even have a tiny paper doll. More than once have I shouted that I am the DragonBorn come to save the day.....then realize I am wearing my breechcloth only......rather than my badass dragon armour that I had to kill dragons for.

There's ways to implement it without taking away how "hardcore" Mortal Online is. It's just up to the devs to write the code....

But it wont ever happen.

Now I'm far from a game dev guru, but from my understanding Mirrors are very resource heavy.

Have to do that in low detail and even then it gets very laggy. For some reason it messes up the face - like a mister potato head smile. I hope that is not the way everyone else sees my alts. And am I getting older, I do not remember my beard being that grey in the character screen! At least my char is more ripped being lean, no beer gut hiding the six pack that the player has....could you imagine this game if the characters had to look like the player.
