what are your plans for new year's eve?

Renting a house by a lake with a bunch of friends (around 20 people atm). A sauna, a pool, a jacuzzi, lots of good food and drink and good company. Should be fun.

Too bad it's not been cold here and the lake is not frozen over. Otherwise we'd go do a bit of this before we start stuffing are faces with food and drink.

Anyway, probably do something with my parents, then later at night hang out with friends (I'm sure there will be plenty of alcohol).

I'm assuming LS had a picture of people jumping in the lake then going into the hot tub? It's not cold here, either. It's generally 0F/-18C by now, but it hasn't been colder than 10F/-12C, and this week it's been more or less at 32/0. All the snow melted, of which there was little. Very strange winter.

That is a valid question . A Normal Club plays commercial and radio music ,but a Dance Club plays " Rave music " ...so you hear anything from Trance to Techno
But yes you do dance at both so it is a little confusing

That's weird. Here we call clubs that play either techno or trance music techno or trance clubs. Everything else is a dance club or just a club.

But I don't like clubs, so I really shouldn't care this much about this.

Your definition is accurate ,in SA we don't have any clubs that just play Trance . Generally the clubs that do have 2-3 dance floors that would play house music ,trance and maybe electro music

So my definition for these clubs is " Dance " ...I could say " Rave Clubs " but I find this word outdated and conjures up pictures of people popping E's and drinking copious amounts of water

We are going to San Fran for New Years.
