I would say no.
I downloaded the open beta client, patched like 2 or 3 times...I can open the game, get to the char create screen, select a race, hit next, next screen loads and may or may not have active buttons in it then.. it crashes NowGame.exe.
I have the newest vid drivers, newest audio\mobo drivers (all nvidia), the Directx link in that thread downloads and says I have a newer version of DX, PhysX engine d\l does the same thing. dotnet is at 3.5sp1. Changed the ini file entries from 4096 to 512, running in compatibility mode (tried both server 2k3 and xp sp2) and running as admin, no change whatsoever.
edit: forgot to say this is on vista ultimate 64bit
