On the evening of 1-7-12, a battle ensued amongst ENVY and AQ. The battle was bloody and fierce, and while ENVY looked like they may be gaining the upper hand, suddenly three demons appeared in Gaul Kor demanding the Sword of Tears for their master. This video is what followed their appearance.

They Turned up at Bakti Also though i didnt think to fraps it they asked us for the sword also so we offered to sell it to em for a reasonable Price

didnt watch all of your vid but did any of you get hit for like 178 thunderlash ??

About an hour or so ago (if not earlier) they came to Meduli and a very long fight followed. Aym and Malturn brandished their shiny weapons and began swinging at the KotO, RED, DC, etc. More and more people showed up and they became more and more aggressive. Taking out anyone who was unable to block the blows they delivered. I myself lost a shield (had spare) and my helm (took hits to the head afterwards to). They were able to take out horses and anyone who they deemed problematic (hit them a bunch). If you were focused by both of them you usually ended up dead or in need of a couple greater heals (good bye big pots).

The event was overall very fun, but going in the guard zone was not allowed for the reds and anyone who went grey on accident. I did over 1,000 damage to Malturn (Master) and was able to get in several swings on Aym as well. I was not hit by much magic, but an EQ was launched (Aym) and I bet I missed out on a few other spells as well.

Malturn died while Aym was focusing on myself (special me) and I was only able to score a glove and shoulder. The real loot was the OG axe and the red thunder egg (500 gold). I congratulate Garoo of DC on winning the loot....I wish it was based on who did the most damage to him.

I did not get to go into the guard zone

They led us away from it as well, ha ha. You should have been there Angarato....it was pretty fun and quite a change (event wise). Beats the random Risar and spider invasions.

im all for events. But then they do events that is to overpowered like that aym guy hitting thunderlashes that hard i start to wonder what they are thinking. I mean its a full loot game. If they almost instagibb people with 1 single thunderlash i wonder what they have in store for later then. Then it is a game were you loose stats or loot they need to be carefull with how overpowered they make them self.

Cool, vid. The sword it out somewhere im sure. No one will bring it out. The gm event is pretty cool. Definatly cool to see the gms get some payback on players im sure they would love to explode.

It is funny because at the beginning there was also a Daemon named Erisa. This one tried to do a super sneak attack on me in the start of the fight, I quickly turned around after noticing that Erisa jumped from the GK library and took 90% fall damage and was low HP. I charged a thunderlash and the Daemon teleported while my thunderlash was going straight for his face. Luckily, I had a tab target on this Daemon and Erisa was murdered by said thunderlash with the force of ten thousand thunderfists.

What are they to do ? Take the sword from a player that got it, and place it into another event ?
I thought this game was about player decisions, where players form the world, so if a player want to imprison the sword in a bank or destroy it he is allowed to do so, but offcourse there might be consequences later on.

If they just took it from the guy that got it, its like destroying AQs assets and taking all ur ressources for example. What players decide to do with the stuff thats in the world is upto them.

Just like when the dragon gets back in, u can free it, keep it imprisoned or kill it. Whatever u do it will get consequences, but it is up to players to decide.

Ya i was thinking the same when they came to bakti. We got one of them down to very low health, then he seemed to turn his speed up, and it became impossible to hit him. He was walking backwards in combat mode 5 times faster than i sprint forward... and then i got hit by 188 damage thunderlashes...
Soured the event I thought.

It was still fun though, and I hope they expand on it. Maybe more health, but less speed and no instagibbs. Idk.
