I sincerely hope, infact I expect to be able to walk around every single area of that picture. Just so worried we'll have a large city full of buildings we can't enter or explore.

there's just nothing to interact with really (yeahi, chairs .... ), nothing to explore but static landscape, buildings etc ... lets dont start that again, I guess SV knows that weakness, but there are way more important things to do first.

You silly, it was just a little bit of language barrier.
But i do hope the capital will have more living houses to actually back up it's population lore wise. Some useless structures right there.

All I'm hoping is that the AI introduced allows for roaming NPCs that actually make the city feel alive. I think when people think "static city" they think something along the lines of Morin Khur...a beautiful city that feels dead.

No players, no NPCs, just a beautiful empty city. It feels not like you are in the capitol of the Khurites in a living world but that just dig an archeological site discovering the remains of ancient civilization long gone.

Tindrem should have a Blast furnace too or so i read in the wiki.(and we get new metals with that maybe)...

GK has a blast furnace... 2. It's the most efficient and really the only viable extractor to use in making Oghmium.

Houses in controlled cities should be as functional as any normal place-able house, given that they are not owned by a npc. Guilds could then have housing for their members or sell them out. It would give more of an incentive for territory control, and would stop MO's homeless population. It would make cities feel more "alive", and could promote trade in a hotspot if they have the same functionality (shop addons). Being a citizen of a town could mean so much more, but they would have to make the doors open able and own able, as well as balancing any exploits such as sneaking in through the roof. which I wish could work somehow but people will always complain about their house being pillaged. Maybe a combination of spell-wards, guarding pets, locks, traps, would be enough but who knows that would be far off. If they are not own able by players then they should all have npc's or tables. Having a colossal city with open houses would just pissoff players and breaks immersion.

The city structures are finished, what is being worked on now is overall propping and npc behavours, giving the city life. I dont want to spoil to much yet, I did show almost finished screen on the magic towers, but without npcs. Even though they would be hard to spot on that distance.

When Im a bit more finished with the layout of the npcs I may be able to take either a screen or a frap. Not promising anything though.

This is Tindrem without the city Closed for players, yet there was a hole to get in the empty city space. I can assure you this is not how it looks today Though those structures are in.

tindrem doesnt have a blast furnace i dont think, theres a good reason why gaul khur is covered in thick dust and who would want all that dust and smoke in their city? (gaul khor was a tindremic mining city beofre risars ransacked it) might have some unique appliance but i wouldnt count on it.


Tindrem oh so does have a Blast Furnace - won't behave in the same way at the GK one tho!
