I don't feel that everyone has sucked up to the moderators and is it really that much of a problem to tell someone that are atleast doing a good job keeping things in order around here? Are we only supposed to give negative feedback? We're all supposed to be jerks that don't let one negative thing pass when many positive things have happened?

I prefer the approach of telling them some things that you may not like about what they are doing and then telling them some goods things to balance things out. Then it's more constructive feedback.

but if MOs moderation is near as strict as the forum's rules,

The only threads that get closed are either A: repeated ones, B: have degraded to insults and no debating(usually the OP unable to accept a differing opinion), or C: Discuss inappropriate material.

And thats anyway different to every other forum of a game about to go into BETA in what way exactly, name me just one forum, just one in the last 10 years thats has not sounded the same, in fact I will go as far to say, this forum has far far less of the downright cheesy beg me a BETA ,that look so demeaning.
Are you more likely witnessing what happens when a site is managed well or over zealously depending on view point and all the dross and the mindless rubbish is filtered out, I for once think this site is a place where someone can in a constructive manner express a view or a concern, and as long as the Mods don't confuse that with censorship and removing all views not fitting their view. I SAY CARRY ON REGARDLESS, because a valid point about this up and coming game is not going to get drowned out by a bunch of Muppet's comparing their ego,s and saying "Go Back To" after every attempt at meaningful dialog.

True, nearly everyone no matter what or where do suck up to the moderators/devs. I wish one day that I'll find someone who isn't scared of once in a while questioning/commenting the devs/mods for the way they do somtehing.
